Is the brownlow cancelled this year?

A few i have at odds.

Kangs most votes: LDU 13s on pbet. Honestly surprised how its not 2.50. Xerri unbackable fave and has 1 career vote. Supreme value.

Gws most team votes: finn Callaghan 4s. Have him a game clear of green. Reckon there's a few games where agencies gave 3 to green where I dont think he gets it, like r24 where greene and darcy Wilson were better. Surprised Callaghan not fave.

Eagles most votes: Hough at 5s. 3 votes can win this, hes an outside chance to get 4 but he was our best in the only win v saints.

Pies without naicos: Jamie Elliot. Have him by 2 votes at 3.50, may find better if ya shop.

To poll 15+: kozzie picket at 10.50. Seems over and a sniff, safer than top 20 where i think u need 16.

Holmes over 20.5 votes at 1.87.

Head to head: Thilthorpe over Jezza at 3.26.

Sydney over 67.5 votes at 1.87.

Interested to see what others like.

Trac over jaicos head to head at 2.25.

Small multi paying 6.3
Trac over jaicos
Serong over green
Mckay over king

6 legger at 4.9
Baz top 5
Finn Cal top 20
Serong top 10
Rowell 25+
Noah 25+
Holmes 20+

I want to have a few team most votes and top 3,5,10 multis. Most betting agencies won’t let you have multis using different bet categories which is annoying. Does this change closer to the Brownlow. Sportsbet doesnt even have Matt Rowell in their top 10 market. Does anyone know the best agency to use for more multi options etc?

Tab allow u to put say Rowell 25+ (1.65) votes into others to finish top 20, say Finn Cal (1.20) or whoever ya like.
Think rowell not available in top 10 cos he'd be 1.02

How low do you have Green? I can see Callaghan doing well and maybe getting to 22, but hard to see Green not being 23+ for me.
Gets tricky because quite a few games they're both in the mix together eg R1, 17, 22, 23 I thought could really go to either of them.

Got him like 19
Yikes really hoping not for my multis. What's your 3rd best Giant and what's the overall Giants votes number?

I have them around 85 votes. Their over under is 87.5. I actually have Green and Callaghan combining for 48 votes so overs on both according to the market. Probably underdone Ash and Whitfield.

Giants 85.5. Toby green 14.5

I have Green on 26 votes. He is very much an umpire's darling (2024 projected 23 votes, polled 26).

Matt Rowell is very much in the same boat being under the umpire's nose all day. Last year projected 16 votes and he polled a whopping 25. It was one of the upsets of the night for team votes, with Anderson receiving no love (Projected 21, polled 14). If it trends this way again, Rowell could go very close to winning the medal.

Yeah definitely 2 guys I couldn’t take to underpoll. #1 and #2 for ave. Clearances both hitting their prime with plenty of wins.

Interesting to note that all medal winners dating back to 2008 have been ranked in the Top 6 for Contested Possessions. This year, the four favourites all sit outside this metric - Anderson is closest in 7th place (293).

Other key contenders:

27 Nick Daicos - 243 ($3.00)
34 Jordan Dawson - 225 ($6.00)
38 Bailey Smith - 221 ($5.00)

Top 6 for 2025:
  1. Tom Green - 339 ($51.00)
  2. Caleb Serong - 325 ($67.00)
  3. Matt Rowell - 319 ($10.00)
  4. Max Gawn - 311 ($151.00)
  5. George Hewett - 305 ($501.00)
  6. Patrick Cripps - 296 ($501.00)

Hey team,

This is a little off topic, hope you don't mind.

Is there any chance of ever getting a payout of some Brownlow bets that are impacted by the Pell betting scandal?

I lost two multis, worth a combined $10K, both due to Rozee not getting the most votes for Port Adelaide.

Amon finished with 15 votes, Rozee with 14. Round 15 was umpired by Pell.

Rozee 24 touches (13 and 11) @ 79.2% DE, 275M Gained, 2 goals, 1 goal assist, 6 clearances
Amon 26 (16 and 10) @ 61.5%, 10 tackles, 301M Gained

Even if they could just void the Rozee leg if Pell is found guilty it'd be nice to get an outcome.

If I tried to push that, how would I go about doing it?

Thanks! :)

The terms on SB for the overall medal winner is "Any changes to the winner or the medal at a later date are ignored for betting purposes". And this was the case with Jobe Watson 2012. Would assume same approach would be taken with team winners.

Would be very frustrating that's for sure. Wonder if suing Michael Pell himself would be a way..

Would be a complete waste of time. You wouldnt have a case either way but just for the hell of it you couldn't argue that Amon doesn't get those votes anyway, just that the ump knew who got the votes and bet accordingly

An equal waste of time. You can't argue that the votes themselves have been changed just that he knew the result
