Well realistically what else was she going to do from that point work wise? She didn’t - I’m assuming - delete the photos, and nor should she, as she was just doing her job, and had obviously already taken photos of him and of the incident in some capacity. I’d say she probably just went and took photos elsewhere and the bloke that spoke to her probably tried to de-escalate it and just said ‘might be easier to just get some shots at another part of the ground for now.’

When it’s clearly not aimed ‘at a woman’ for the sake of it being a woman, if Morris Finance have such a problem with it they should have probably also had a problem with some of his other controversial behaviour.

In the same way that some of Smith’s behaviour is treading a very thin line and crossing it in some cases, your arguments need to tread the right side of it too and lose this focus on gender.

When are these other occasions he’s abused women and were they specifically because they were women? He’s had two run ins in a month with photographers - one male, and one female. In both cases he’s carried on like an idiot.

I’m all for protecting women and being anti domestic violence, and basically pro-anything you can name as far as defending women from danger etc goes.

But the available evidence I’m seeing is that he can’t control his tongue when it comes to people he feels are pissing him off even when they are just doing their job and he should just shut his mouth and be respectful.

Hypothetically, if it was a CLOSED training session, and a bloke snuck in there with a camera to sneak footage of him and he said ‘f**k off’ he’d be within his rights to do it. The photographer shouldn’t be there. If it was a woman in that situation, what would your stance be?

I didn’t watch closely enough but either way I would have guessed that a representative of either would have done/said the same thing. It would be an uncomfortable situation to observe and most people would have empathy for the photographer and probably advise the same thing: ‘hey look sorry about this maybe just easier to get some shots of the forwards group up the other end for now’
