How can anyone be so utterly untethered from reality to think that Trump care about anything beyond himself?

They have swallowed the image campaign hook, line and sinker. Dems were candidates as usual, Trumps snottiness and bluster set him apart so they could easily go with their natural inertia toward a GOP candidate. They watch the weather channel and follow crop price reports, not politics.
