It's the attributes you don't see that have seen him delisted by us.Im not against the decision & accept "they would know better", but, if Blight goes on to be an AA defender, then we clearly got it wrong. He looked like he had all the natural attributes to be a very good Kpd is my only point & if we eventually see those attributes lead to him becoming an AA - then thats on us. Im not expecting him to be, but, if he does, i certainly cant say i didn't see his potential. His potential has always been pretty obvious in regards to athleticism, strength, leap etc

Well, that worked out, didn't it? onder where all that sense went. That would make the most sense
unless of course we are intending to delist him and don't believe there is any interest from any other club

His lack of want to adhere to a role and the team plan and follow basic instructions and his poor attitude.
Give you the tip, West Coast won't be interested him with the feedback getting back to them from Richmond through Baker and Graham.
Freo wouldn't want him either.
Classic case of shooting himself in the foot.
Think the fact he's a school teacher sums him up - stubborn and always right.
My understanding is - and from a very reliable source - he was advised, told, instructed on multiple occasions, but did not heed the warnings and showed no inclination he would.I honestly see that players like that are only failing themselves if they don't ever "get it right". I am happy to take the clubs call on him as the right one, but, if he ends up going to another club and they can teach him how to do these things, then that is a failure on our club. We had the talent, but couldn't get it focused to capitalise

You can't get through to someone as stubborn as a mule and shows a disregard for the team.
The club and group can only do so much. The individual has to change or want to. He didn't.
He didnt strike me as the most teachable guy.My understanding is - and from a very reliable source - he was advised, told, instructed on multiple occasions, but did not heed the warnings and showed no inclination he would.

Playing his role and adhering to the systems and structures we play to.What aspects of his game was he not adhering to?
West AustralianSounds like he was a dumb arse
disappointing to hear.Playing his role and adhering to the systems and structures we play to.
The knock on him was that he was not team-oriented and was focused on ensuring he stood out.
It was raised with him multiple times, but there was no change forthcoming when asked to follow the team rules.
I do find it surprising that West coast haven't given him a rookie spot or something.Back to the WAFL he goes.
Clearly has not interviewed well at Collingwood and West Coast to not give him a go
Look at West Coast's playing list and you'll find the reason ... two of them.I do find it surprising that West coast haven't given him a rookie spot or something.
Yep especially West Coast. Their key defensive posts are crud.I do find it surprising that West coast haven't given him a rookie spot or something.
That meshes with what we saw on the field. He ran all over the place and was constantly out of position.Playing his role and adhering to the systems and structures we play to.

Not what I was pointing to.Yep especially West Coast. Their key defensive posts are crud.
Surprised we didnt get pick 100 for him thoughRemember those campaigners whining that we didn't trade him instead of delisting him....
Old comment, but do you know if if was obstinace or was it that he just couldnt "get it"?My understanding is - and from a very reliable source - he was advised, told, instructed on multiple occasions, but did not heed the warnings and showed no inclination he would.
