Has anyone else found the Adelaide board less active than they would have anticipated a week ago?

Mixed in with genuine criticisms of the players and coaches has been a fair chunk of defeatism and general loser talk.

I reckon that turns people away and then you have the ones who are so defeated they don't even come on at all.

We need the list management team to do their job and not offer Murphy a contract for next year.

I'd like to hear nothing --- complete silence --- when he gets the ball; maybe some laughter if he gestures in his cocky, disrespectful ways.
I'm not going, but the mate I went with earlier this year is going with his missus (it's ok; we're going fishing on Sunday morning, just for a catch-up and company given the Algal bloom disaster).

To all of us in here who will be attending, please ignore Ginnivan.

If we make the Grand Final (very unlikely) we will bring in Rankine for either Pedlar or Taylor.

We have named our best performed Sub as the Sub (I would have gone for Dowling but 50/50).

We have named our best performing SANFL players as emergencies.

It’s a fuc**n disgrace.

Brings stuff all. His ceiling is so low these days and his inclusion says everything about Nicks. Draper can spud it up just as bad as Smith but there is just so much upside if he were to have the quarter of his life.

You're pissed off with the negativity and support Nicks and tonight's selection, which is your right.

Your assumptions about "best team" are questionable, though; many would have Cook in front of Taylor and/or Pedlar, and even you'd have Dowling in for Smith (so would I). Others think Butts is a better choice than Murray.
No matter. It's ok to disagree

The one selection I disagree with on every level is Murphy as an Emergency.
I know that means he's unlikely to play but regardless of his SANFL form, he has proved again and again that he is not AFL Minor Round standard, let alone good enough for a Final.
Now that, is a f****n disgrace.
