I'm not sure that 26.2 years vs. 26.4 years really makes much of a difference.
Overall Lions more experienced
Especially with Swallow likely to be our sub. I assume Marshall will be yours?
The reigning premiers couldn't choke. They simply couldn't. The Gabbatoir won't allow another straight sets exit on their watch. Those extra two months of life could be the difference.
Another cup St.Kilda can't win.Nepo babies cup.

As pies supporter you'd hope they only have one win left in them, Suns are full strength and beaming with confidence, never underestimate a wave of momentum. Pies have had one good game in as many weeks.still undecided for this one.
go either way.
lions and suns only really have one more win left in them.
im leaning slighty lions for some reason
but can see suns as well
toss of a coin
but have lions in this one only by say 12 points
be a hard slog tho
also wet weathers predicted as well
Suns mauled Lions only a few weeks ago when they had Neale and Hipwood and Suns had no Miller or Rioli, now they do i certainly wouldn't be writing the Suns off. Going over to Perth and winning a final is no easy feat regardless of how you look at it. It doesnt matter how you win in finals as long as you doTrying to work in a "1 trillion Lions vs the Sun" gag but its too early.
More and more feeling like the Lions bounce back hard. Suns fumbled horribly vs Freo, who aren't the most emotionally rigid side ever and then fell in by a heart bursting effort. Emotion is great in sport but coughing up that 3/4 time lead was weak.
If Brisbane even remotely turn up they win.

From what i saw, I think the Suns Freo game was the furthest from finals standard for consistency and focus.Suns mauled Lions only a few weeks ago when they had Neale and Hipwood and Suns had no Miller or Rioli, now they do i certainly wouldn't be writing the Suns off. Suns definitely have a issue with allowing teams back in contest when they could wrap it up but the fact they persevered and won the game and thats all that matters and controlled the majority of the game through elite pressure. They buckled under the pressure of the final quarter yet rose to the occasion and won their first final, alot of teams buckle under the pressure of finals Giants, Adelaide, Brisbane, Freo and Suns almost did but they won. Suns have shown they can beat Brizzy and convincingly recently, will that happen in finals? Not sure, only time will tell, but i wouldnt count them out. Pies have only had one good game in 6 weeks so their form is hard to go offFrom what i saw, I think the Suns Freo game was the furthest from finals standard for consistency and focus.
I think the Giants might have beaten both those sides on that showing.
Brisbane show bursts at the required level but Geelong went a whole tier up. Adelaide actually played some fine footy too.
Finals is a different game. Brisbane played maybe the worst footy of the weekend at their worst. Thats GCs hope. If Brisbane play a quarter of two at their best can the Subs recover?
We've been woeful, that win was a massive reversal. Pretty much a four quarter effort, one absolute blitz in the second and 10 minute lockdown in the last. I think Hodge said with 10 minutes to go "they can't just defend this margin". Nek minnit.Suns definitely have a issue with allowing teams back in contest when they could wrap it up but the fact they persevered and won the game and thats all that matters and controlled the majority of the game through elite pressure. 100% agreed, im hoping for a little brother has arrived statement win but we shall see, Brizzy are a proven finals team as you mentioned. No one can deny pies finals credentials, they turned it up for the Crows gameWe've been woeful, that win was a massive reversal. We do have form for this, in 22 and 23 we switched to a different gameplan and level of intensity in finals. We're more brittle this time, don't think we'd recover without the week off.
Adelaide were unlucky only 2 forwards fired. Thilthorpe and Fogarty were worse than useless inside 50. Their mids are average but that defence really only cracked for one burst. Hawks are up against it.
No ones there undeservingly. Just trying to plot a line based on past actions. Brissie has proven character. If the Suns get over them it will mean something.

It does feel that way doesn't it. I can't think of any game in which we turned things around after an ordinary start. maybe just the port gameThe biggest thing to watch is if we bring pressure in the first quarter. If we're off the pace and Suns burst out the blocks, I think they'll win. The energy & belief off that opening quarter will be hard to quell from a young team with a chance to knock the big brothers out.
Could be wrong obviously but the first half will decide this game I feel. If we get control early, bring pressure and build a lead into HT. I'd imagine we should be able to maintain that through.
Nah we had a couple to start the year. Cats/Dogs early in the year we started slow and turned it around but certainly that hasn't been the case in the back half of the year.It does feel that way doesn't it. I can't think of any game in which we turned things around after an ordinary start. maybe just the port game
Which i such a change from the finals and then the first few games of the year - comeback kings was a short-lived phenomenon!
