2019-21 we rose up the ladder ahead of schedule and struggled massively in finals. Still managed to beat the tigers in a final though that's pretty hard isn't it eh cats?

2022-24 we finished top 4 once. Went 8-2 in finals. Made pf / gf / prem. 4-2 away from the gabba. If that is flaky then sign me up to be the flake kings.

Think the suns get it done Saturday. We have too many good talls out and need more depth there. Straight sets always stings a bit as you still cop a top 6 draw. Just not sure what is in the tank. Been in OR (or prepping for it) twice off the back of GFs but somehow don't think we will have that problem in 2026...

Trying to work in a "1 trillion Lions vs the Sun" gag but its too early.

More and more feeling like the Lions bounce back hard. Suns fumbled horribly vs Freo, who aren't the most emotionally rigid side ever and then fell in by a heart bursting effort. Emotion is great in sport but coughing up that 3/4 time lead was weak.

If Brisbane even remotely turn up they win.

As pies supporter you'd hope they only have one win left in them, Suns are full strength and beaming with confidence, never underestimate a wave of momentum. Pies have had one good game in as many weeks.

I think the Giants might have beaten both those sides on that showing.

Brisbane show bursts at the required level but Geelong went a whole tier up. Adelaide actually played some fine footy too.

Finals is a different game. Brisbane played maybe the worst footy of the weekend at their worst. Thats GCs hope. If Brisbane play a quarter of two at their best can the Suns recover?

They buckled under the pressure of the final quarter yet rose to the occasion and won their first final, alot of teams buckle under the pressure of finals Giants, Adelaide, Brisbane, Freo and Suns almost did but they won. Suns have shown they can beat Brizzy and convincingly recently, will that happen in finals? Not sure, only time will tell, but i wouldnt count them out. Pies have only had one good game in 6 weeks so their form is hard to go off

Freo were pretty poo for most of the game last week and nearly ran over the top. Lions will be a far tougher opponent for the first three quarters and will get the job done. Lions by 24.

100% agreed, im hoping for a little brother has arrived statement win but we shall see, Brizzy are a proven finals team as you mentioned. No one can deny pies finals credentials, they turned it up for the Crows game

Nah we had a couple to start the year. Cats/Dogs early in the year we started slow and turned it around but certainly that hasn't been the case in the back half of the year.
