The Crows couldn't beat us, I can't see them beating hawthorn either. I reckon we broke them and hawthorn had them on toast last time in Adelaide but shit the bed in the last quarter with a weaker side than they have now
Yeah it could go one of two ways. They'll respond hard with the embarrassment of the first minor premier since 1982 to go out in straight sets looming. Or the pressure will be too great and they'll shit the bed majorly and the Hawks will steamroll them. Interesting watch. I think the Crows by 9 in a thriller

As long as they smash each other, that's the main thing

But everybody acknowledges the danger of Geelong and how tough they'd be to overcome. I have found on this forum that many Pie fans express anger when the issue of the Hawthorn club's hold on us over a period of six decades is raised. I don't think you can change this narrative unless you are acknowledging the reality first.
Many of us don't believe that John Kennedy, Leigh Matthews and Jason Dunstall will be as influential as they once were.

This could be correct, or they might shit the bed in front of 93000 rabid Collingwood supporter
Who knows which way it will turn, should the Suns get over a wounded Lions outfit this weekend, but it will certainly be fascinating to see it play out.

It should be a cracking game that one. I think both teams will back in their mids and keep stoppages relatively open.

I’m coming around to the idea of preferring the lions. Cameron is woefully out of form, hipwood injured, Payne injured,Neale out.

Suddenly their midfield becomes reliant on mccluggage and Rayner playing a blinder (which of course he can)

Forward line relies on Morris as a tall.

Gold Coast relies on how they handle the occasion because they have talent everywhere… would I rather that or a wounded lions outfit?

end of the day none of the teams left will be an easy win. Thats why they are the last 4 in it
Precisely. And to be the best, you have to beat the best. Whatever is thrown at us, we have all the tools to come out on top in the end.

I'll be happy if they beat the crap out of each other and the worst part is neither is likely to beat Geelong

I'm not as convinced about the Cats as most are. It's been a shift this year to transition with Cats, Hawks and Adelaide being excellent teams without outstanding midfields, but I can't see it winning the flag. I think they're going to be asking a lot of Dangerfield.

I reckon we are the best equipped to beat Geelong. Looking forward to what happens this week
