Fixture Fixture requests 2026

So as a bottom 6 team our double ups will be:

2 or 3 of: West Coast, Richmond, North Melbourne, Melbourne, Port Adelaide
1 or 2 of: St Kilda, Carlton, Sydney, Western Bulldogs, Fremantle, GWS
1 or 2 of: Hawthorne, Gold Coast, Collingwood, Brisbane, Geelong, Adelaide

I'm hoping for Richmond, Melbourne, Port, Sydney, Carlton and Hawthorne. It probably ends up with 5x interstate trips not including Gather Round. But the $172.38 question is will we play Melbourne twice for the first time since 2005?

Also, why do we play Sydney twice almost every year? That one can take a break too.

This would be my dream fixture. Won't happen, but it's how I would do it if I were biased and corrupt working for the AFL fixture department. There is a way to construct 11 MCG games, making it a defacto home ground for half the games.
