His ball use is fine, especially compared to what we just dished up tonight
Probably a fair pointHis ball use is fine, especially compared to what we just dished up tonight
We just need a player in the middle that can get their hands on the ball.Anyone who wants Oliver hasn’t watched Oliver play since 2023. He’s cooked.
Midfield is completely broken, but being coached by a clueless idiot isn’t helping.
I don’t even know where to start with how to rebuild the midfield. We’re arguably better off just relocating Rachele, Curtin and Taylor in there and recruiting forwards.

NahIf you take Oliver, feel free to help yourself to Petty and Sparrow as well.
I disagree on butts. After last night with how keane performed, butts is a must keep at all costs as he just went past keane at a rapid rate without even playing. Agree with most of the rest but want to keep edwards to see if he could develop into one of the answers in the middle..maybeAfter that disaster, no 1 priority is fix the midfield.
Whatever % of Clarry's salary we have to pay plus our first, just get him.

Thank You Tex , Thank You Brodie and Thank You Matt
See ya Murph
I don’t mind the idea of Tex having some sort of role coaching the forwards - maybe SANFL level or something like that, but yes sadly his playing days are done on what he’s shown the last few weeks .I think the decision should be taken out of Brodie and Tex's hands.
Tex had a better year than I expected but there were fundermental issues with him and our forward line that was always going to be exposed come finals.
Smith just offers very little. He was never a super sub.
Unfortunately their leadership and experience hasn't cut through
Give them both and Crouchy a lap of honour in our first home game. No coaching roles should be offered with us next year. All three should go and do something different.

Only if you accept O'BrienIf you take Oliver, feel free to help yourself to Petty and Sparrow as well.
Yeah don’t disagree with that - would be great for him (if he has coaxing ambitions) to get away from the crows for a while.I just think the club maybe needs some separation. Get a different voice.
He also should spend some time out of the Crows bubble.
Down the track I am sure he will be back.

And we all know how that ends.I find this narrative a bit weird. Was quiet last night, but against Collingwood he had 18 touches, 9 marks and 5 shots on goal. Didn’t kick at goal like we needed him to, but I don’t think inaccurate kicking is a sign he’s finished.
If he wants another year I think we give it to him, Nicks just needs to be prepared to make the hard call if required.
