Anyone that gets themselves ahead of Dean is good for us at this stagePlays like Cripps, just without the same ability to quickly plant his feet a release a really clever handball (at least, not yet).
in every other aspect of play he is well in advance of Patrick at the same age... think he's just shot himself into top 10 calculations and will wind up at Essendon or Hawthorn, but I'd take him first up otherwise.
Is he bolting more than Jack Ison.Sullivan Robey apparently the biggest bolter this year but not mentioned here yet.
Mid forward 190cm surely of interest to us?
YesIs he bolting more than Jack Ison.
Likewise Jack Pickett from the Falcons who has 30 goals from 8 games And Arki Barker who has 26 goals from 10 games?

If you can come up with a plan, I'll see it gets through the committee.stealing some premiership cups to add to our lot at ikon
Agree with the talent side of things and you may certainly be right, but NGA types like this get pushed further back when they know the player will get taken by the assigned club. IMO pick 30-40 will be the range we need to bidThere's absolutely a chance. He's shown serious talent the last 6-7 weeks of the season at CTL and was dominating school footy before it.
Unfortunately he had no pre season and a late start to the year so most will consider his early form indicative of the prospect at hand.
I'd have him sneaking into the 20 now if I were picking. Upside is enormous.
Now that it is harder to match bids, we may see earlier bids if there is a chance that to match, a team has to make a trade on draft night. There may be a higher chance of bids being successful.Agree with the talent side of things and you may certainly be right, but NGA types like this get pushed further back when they know the player will get taken by the assigned club. Honestly that's about where I'd see things in terms of the top 5, Duff-Tytler is definitely on the slide. Just doesn't seem to do enough with his supposed athleticism, combine may reveal more there."Smyth" September rankings
- 1. W.Duursma
- 2. Z.Uwland

That explains no talk about them, the lack of talk on McKinnon is strange, he’s about 25 goals ahead of the next tall forwardPickett and Butler are for 2026 and not 2025.
Richmond too.Honestly that's about where I'd see things in terms of the top 5, Duff-Tytler is definitely on the slide. Just doesn't seem to do enough with his supposed athleticism, combine may reveal more there.
I'd have Duursma at 5 and Patterson at 1, though.
Would be thrilled if we can snag Robey at the compensation pick, but would involve some strange decisions from West Coast, Essendon, and Hawthorn.
Looks like a man playing amongst boys!! Love the look of this kid! Bring him in
Richmond would be a strange one considering that they have Smillie, Hopper, Taranto, Ross, and Lalor. Duff-Tytler makes a lot of sense for them, so perhaps they'll trade down, maybe trade out a pick.Richmond too.
Maybe we only get a look if we end up trading for #2 from wce as that's basically where he's heading in the open pool.
If wce did 3 bids from the get go do GC and Brisbane need to acquire picks ahead of us for matching?Richmond would be a strange one considering that they have Smillie, Hopper, Taranto, Ross, and Lalor. Duff-Tytler makes a lot of sense for them, so perhaps they'll trade down, maybe trade out a pick.
Not sure how we shake pick 2 out of West Coast without trading Charlie, but we've got other outgoing trades in the works it seems... perhaps some of the spoils from those will add up enough alongside sending them Acres and Binns and the TDK pick.
Speculating about Robey who could be as high as #2 in the open pool. Why do we need pick 2 and for who?
If we can trade with GC and as part of that trade move from pick 9 to pick 6 to get ahead of Dean bid what are we missing out on between someone at pick 6 and pick 2?
They don't have to, but it would likely wipe out their 2026 first round picks. If wce did 3 bids from the get go do GC and Brisbane need to acquire picks ahead of us for matching?
If we’re holding pick 6 it won’t be ahead of the Dean bid.Why do we need pick 2 and for who?

will shine bat symbol once ready
Id like to think if we did move up to pick 2 itd be used for someone established, then we get dean and somehow Ison. Deans bid will come around the 5 to 6 mark, recon saints or dons definitely call himWhy do we need pick 2 and for who?

Duursma. Imagine if we drafted Dursma, Dean and Ison and then walker, butters next year. Why do we need pick 2 and for who?

Can't see Duursma not going to WCEDuursma. Imagine if we drafted Dursma, Dean and Ison and then walker, butters next year.
Really depends where our picks and bids on Dean/ISON land.Any chance we can draft Lachy Dovaston and finally address our small forward needs? Reminds me of Watson.
