I was very impressed with Buss, Sellwood and Jaques at the ground.

Hynes and Dolan looked like superior specimens and just need big pre seasons.

Smith is a really nice agile handful of a ruck.

Walker would 100% be a second rounder if he was in this draft. Great recruiting.

How was his game today? Only saw the highlights last week, but his goals were more from being in the right place at the right time rather than traditional KPF goals - which is a good thing to be compatible with our existing talls.

How do we get Edge in as a line coach in the 1s? Or is he too valuable developing the young talent in the 2s as the senior coach. Wouldn't be suprised if he got offered roles elsewhere

Given the profile of our list development is critical always but for the next 2 years imperative

Our drafting the past two years has been great. Sanders, Freijah, Dolan, Hynes, Jaques and Davidson all look like long-term AFL players.

Croft, Walker and Sellwood solid depth showing some potential. I‘d just like to see some consistency from Crofty. Lachie Smith has looked very promising for a young ruck and he’s improved a lot this season.

Luke Kennedy is probably the only one to not show much but he‘s also had injury concerns this year.

I got in late to the Whitten Oval early 2nd quarter. Saturday traffic. Parked on Rupert Street West Footscray.

Great win today in the prelim and we go through to a Grand Final.

They are doing something right with the VFL program so huge credit there.

We can easily forget how good Scott is. If not for some injuries he would have played a lot more games. The guy is a cut above here and has done some good jobs in AFL. Perfect backup and utility. Of course, Ads another level again.

Didn't think much about Selwood. Maybe tv didn't do him justice, but wow wee. Lachie Smith is progressing well for a 19 year old kid. Need to give him an extension.

Tackling has been good. Hawthorn rarely getting any time to set up the play.

One of the few stats we are losing is the hitouts and it may get worse if Smith can't ruck the second half. However we have players around the stoppage pouncing on whichever Hawthorn player receives the ball.

I hope the seniors are taking note.

We're yet to beat them... they hold a 3-0 head to head record against us. The last time we played them, they beat at at Whitten Oval in last year's Prelim.
