News 2025 Finals Tickets Thread

AFL Event Office emailed us with our Barcodes to purchase preliminary finals tickets. There’s three of us, and unfortunately none of us can go (we secure these tix plus GF tickets irrespective of whether the Pies make it).

Is anyone looking to go to the Preliminary Final? My understanding is that the seats are Level 4 front. Let me know.

the AFL websites states that tickets for both Prelims will go on sale on Monday.

Does anyone know for prelim tickets if guests will be able to buy? We have afl members through the business with club support 4 total with 2 being Collingwood and the other 2 being Hawthorn unfortunately as partner goes for them. Just wondering with the hawthorn ones or the Collingwood ones if we would be able to purchase more than the two? As four of us family usually go.

Club support means nothing for prelim, so you can still buy 4 member tickets per game.

Hopefully all the neutrals go for Friday night first, be a rare occurrence that Collingwood prelim won’t be no1 ticket for AFL members

Haven't seen anything announced as yet, however, what are we thinking are the chances of at least 1 guest pass per barcode for the Competing Club Members onsale?

IIRC, there was a maximum of 4 per barcode for the prelim vs GWS in 2023 (which was extremely generous).

Would expect no chance of any guest passes offered for the AFL members onsale.

That sucks, I was hoping all the neutrals will be prioritising Geel v Haw and it’d be easier to get good tickets even if you had to wait.

Now they’re both on separate days, the neutrals will get both and it’ll be a cluster****

No guest passes for AFL, but Silver can get tickets on Q or standing room.

There's no club support allocation like there is for the GF so I can't see why not, but does anyone know for sure?

In 2023, the MCC allowed 4 guests per member which was ridiculous. I’m a full member and ended up at the back of level 4

As a AFL gold member we missed out in 2023 but was still able to get seats in the club allocation. I do know a lot of Legend members missed out on tickets to the Prelim in 2018 yet were guaranteed a ticket the next week.

I understand membership is about numbers and every dollar counts. But you can't be saying all memberships are equal when 1 is paying $1200 a year vs $80 3 game membership. Priority has to go to the higher tier.
