The Biggest Loser documentary was kinda rubbish.

I think after the first few seasons you knew what the show was like, so if you applied for it and had a shit time, I'm not placing the blame solely on the trainers and the producers.

At the time the show was fairly motivational (if a bit too extreme, I agree with that part). Done now, in the correct way, there might be a good way to do a reality show about weight loss. Cut out the BS challenges and eliminations and make it more healthy and wholesome.

Was also glad to hear some of the former contestants not blaming the show for putting the weight back on. Returning back to regular life is always going to be an issue when you have 6 months off from family and work commitments and your sole focus is on losing weight.
I watched it last night and agree it wasn't great but a easy enough to watch.

Really confronting seeing the amount of weight the girl who won the last series had lost.

Unknown number: The High School Catfish.

Holy crap absolutely unbelievable.

I gotta say I picked it from the start but only because I guessed it had to be something so far out of the norm for their to be a documentary on it.

Wow just wow

This is one of the craziest things I've seen

Is that the one where
it turns out to be her mum?
If it is, I read an article about it a while ago and my jaw was on the floor.

When they revealed it was the mum I thought no way, there's still 30 minutes left. Must be an error. Nope. It was her. Psycho.

When the police rang the dad and told her she was the one behind the messages and that she had been lying to him about her job, he was more concerned about her lying to him about working than the messages. Massive red flag.

That poor girl has been and will continue to be manipulated by this psycho bitch. She needs to be kept away from her at all costs.

Just finished all three series of Marcella. She’s a fruitcake but grew on me. It’s a police drama, basically, but there’s a lot more going on. The last series especially was quite graphic. The ending is spectacular. Would recommend.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here or not - it's from 2018 so not sure if it has only recently been added or I just missed it for 7 years - but Seven Seconds was a great watch.

Young black lad hit-and-runned by a distracted cop in Jersey City, exploring the racism and corruption amongst his colleagues to cover it all up. More nuanced than your typical black/white crime and courtroom drama. Excellently written and fantastic characters, dialogue and performances throughout.

A bit of a slow burn (10 episodes) but gets better as the climax approaches.

I thought the same.

Just watched the Unknown Number Catfish doco. Crazy stuff!

The mum was nuts. The part where it is revealed that it was her and her smirk as she essentially said "Everyone has broken the law in the life, I juts got caught" sent chills down my spine. No remorse at all, and you could tell she enjoyed the torment.

Also, the scene when the dad comes home from work, she sends all these brutal, disgusting texts but then doesn't want to leave the daughter, despite all the damage she has done? Just batshit crazy.

Couldn't take my eyes off the aka Charlie Sheen documentary last night. Another banger documentary by Netflix. Within the first 5 minutes he is absolutely hammered on the plane and the pilot lets him take the wheel. Happy he seems to have finally gotten his act together. This is what can happen when your actions don't have substantial consequences in life.

Saw a short clip on Rogan with him. Good to see him thinking and speaking clearly, he was actually very articulate.
