Wallatee apparently is joining Sydney FC. Sucks if we miss out.
Leonard is joining Schalke 04 by the look of it. Feel like he needs more experience in A-League first, I'd hope we speak to him about Schalke potentially signing him, loaning him to us for a season.
Grimaldi - can he play at CF? Or is he purely a wide player? We need someone who can play at CF.
Still no confirmation about Mata and I personally don't know if he's up to the task physically. Hasn't played a lot of football in the last 2 years and that's not a good sign at his age.

Walatee would need to replace Piscopo. I don't know what his contract starus is like.

Honestly I'd prefer Wallatee. Young, plenty of legs, development left in him. Resale value to Europe.
Mata will be a designated wage and simply hasn't played enough football in the last 2 years.
He'll need a huge pre season.

Yeah that's fair. On the sunny side if Mata does work out that'd be something!
On field I'd like to see Mata managed and sharing plenty of minutes with Jelacic who has a lot of promise.
Off field, theres some speculation, based on Mata's previous unrealised interest in investing in CCM, that he might be considering that investment with Victory now instead.
Think he will do better then a lot are currently projecting,
Unlike Nani/Honda/Kewell he is coming in with no expectations and seemingly not on a huge wage,
Having players like Mata/Bruno/Langerak/Bes teaching the young talent we have will do wonders.
Our squad is looking fantastic now minus a back up striker (If I have to watch another minute of Jing Reec I will SPEW UP!)
