Pretty good for a player that a lot of people that don't think he is an elite tap ruck.

Elite in hit/outs and above average to advantage
I definitely feel Nankervis has improved in this Area.

Nar m8, Soldo is betta 🙄

Nanks tap work is much improved the last couple of years. Gun. One of the great pick ups.

A great workhorse but when he gets first touch in boundary throw ins it is mostly always deflected softly at his feet and congestion never in the path of one of our players moving at speed. Not enough variety in what he does as his only other tactic is the 2 handed grab

Congrats Nank on 150 games for the yellow and black!

Would be fawned over by media if he played for any other club especially Collingwood or Geelong.

Been super important to our premiership wins.

A Tiger Champ!

Since 1999, I don't recall a trade have as much of an impact on your side like the one at 2016's end.

Send a pick Sydney's way.
The Swans send Richmond this Cornish giant from Tassie.

do love when he plays angry.
It's great to see him rise to the occasion of being the leader of young men.
At 30 years now, hoping the body can hold up another few seasons yet.

As Dermie said on commentary…there’s always a few extras when Mr Tobias Nankervis is in attendance at a contest. 😁

It does my head in seeing so many older players doing well at other clubs while our guys are ready for the glue factory not long after 30 more often than not, hopefully he can be one of the guys to buck this trend and continue to play well for at least another 3/4 years

Half of those campaigners are selfishly going around for games records and flags. Our guys lives are full 😍

Love big Nank and his effort over the years but the fact he is captain is going to become problematic. No senior quality ruck wants to come and sit in the twos under the club captain, and we aren’t going to drop him anytime soon, regardless of form. He will play every week for the next 2 years minimum, if he remains captain.

His tap work is sub par, he pretty much can only hit straight down in front of his body, from “10 to 2”. It makes life tough for the mids, I have no doubt

Sims can take over from the great man 👍

Season review from Nank.

Couple of interesting points to me.
  • they are planning on making the midfield mix include our faster more dynamic youngsters (Campbell, MRJ etc)
  • Very positive about the coach, and the game plan will be improved on

Hopefully we do really get the more dynamic midfield mix, and move away from relying on the slow steady older guys.

Hopefully Seth does a full pre season training as a mid and Rioli comes back in shape.
