They only occasionally catch it, but the Hawks are very free with their elbows and fists under the packs. Before Smith went hard at that tackle earlier in the term, he'd just copped two forearms to the jaw as two hawks got up after tackling him.
You reap what you sow. At some point, those very good blokes who think that's just part and parcel of the sport will wind up getting knocked into next Tuesday.
They won a flag in 2008 on the back of it too. Ablett particularly, but other as well, got smashed illegally that day. Very few paid. No surprises who the main culprit was - they play as their coach played.
Can’t stand them.
On the flip side, love the Cats. Don’t understand the hate except that people can’t handle that they’re a bloody good footy Club.
