You can make that look more realisticConfirmed from AFL-
Geelong in white shorts / Hawks brown
Collingwood home / Brisbane home with maroon shorts

I'd be doubtful, Brisbane don't tend to experiment muchIs this legit? Worked okay in 2002/3 Grand Finals.

No, because their main colour is white.Geelong home kit is navy shorts and navy ribbed socks
This essentially makes them 'dark' enough when Hawks are yellow/white
The 'light team'
What the f***???Confirmed from AFL-
Geelong in white shorts / Hawks brown
Collingwood home / Brisbane home with maroon shorts

That’s the official AFL memo. You can make that look more realistic
DisagreeNo, because their main colour is white.
I do agree that the white shorts on Hawthorn gives the impression of a "lighter" colour (even with their home jumper) and brown shorts makes that same jumper look dark.
However the best combination is Cats in all white and Hawks in brown shorts.
You are wrong in this one, navy shorts doesnt make geelongs kit dark overall, just a mishmash of dark shorts and a light jumper.Disagree
Look it up what I'm saying works
Geelong don't wear navy nearly enough
Fair enough against black/blue
Compared to yellow? You are wrong in this one, navy shorts doesnt make geelongs kit dark overall, just a mishmash of dark shorts and a light jumper.
I'd be shocked but so happy if this is true.Confirmed from AFL-
Geelong in white shorts / Hawks brown
Collingwood home / Brisbane home with maroon shorts

Yes. I get the run sheet every week on a Wednesday and it lists every game of the round. Is this legit? Worked okay in 2002/3 Grand Finals.
Email the AFL pal.You can make that look more realistic
Can we get the pic confirmation of Geelong in white shorts and Hawthorn in brown shorts this Friday?Yes. I get the run sheet every week on a Wednesday and it lists every game of the round.
so why cant umpires be in light blue? or that darker green
Don't ask me. I don't make any of these decisions.so why cant umpires be in light blue? or that darker green
Umpires only have green, yellow and light blue. I agree the light blue is always preferable with Hawthorn's gold with brown shorts looking close to the umpire's green and charcoal.so why cant umpires be in light blue? or that darker green
Fitzroy's anthem literally says they're a maroon team, likewise, their original jumper was maroon as well. Glad to see us playing in maroon to respect the OG Fitzroy supportersI'd be shocked but so happy if this is true.
Unless if there's a clash I always want to see us wear our home jumper that we won four flags in in a prelim or grand final. My preference is also to always wear our home jumper when we play the old enemy, although I also know the will of the old Fitzroy supporters should be respected as well.
They should have white, red and pink variations to offer better contrast in certain games.Umpires only have green, yellow and light blue.
One can dream, visually a great match up.
