Jumped them in the first but once they settled we didn't have an answer.

We looked absolutely spent.

Bloody hard to win it from eighth and we gave it a good crack against a minor premier and the premiership favourite. I'm disappointed now but if you asked me if this was possible six weeks ago I would asked to have you drug tested.

And if you look back on his 2021 finals series it wasn’t like he was quiet or just a bit part player either.

Elim final - 20 disposals and a goal
Semi - 27 disposals and 3 goals including the matchwinner
Prelim - 23 disposals and 4 goals
Grand final - 26 disposals
