Oh well, season started with a lot of promise, ended up being a bit of a hot mess in different ways towards the end and we simply haven't been good enough in the midfield today.

A pressure-oriented game plan is a young players game plan as it wears you down over the season and older bodies simply find it harder to maintain that level of intensity, we were hoping they'd hang on but unfortunately our late season fadeout said otherwise.

Not a whole lot to be excited about for next year imo, as we've squeezed every drop out of this squad and we are clearly well short of the top two teams, so I can't see how we get to that next level now with what we have to work with.

We also lost this game at selection.
McStay should have played instead of Mihocek who is injured.
Bobby should have played for x- factor and speed.

Would’ve been 1 goal down, they go straight down the other end and the game is over. The umpiring just gets worse and worse.

The first quarter was disgraceful. They then give us the ribbon 2nd qtr knowing they had a shocker in the 1st qtr

Had that been paid, Pies down 1 goal with 8 minutes to go and the crowd behind them with momentum.

But looking inside, Long has been awful. De Goey disappeared. Sidebottom showed his age without Pendles there next to him.

Crisp looks like he aged 5 years in 5 weeks.

Howe looks like he needed 2 more weeks conditioning. Reminds me of 2011 with Reid playing like a 50 year old against 20 year olds.

Mihocek cannot shake anyone right now, he looks so unfit or hurting.

Elliot, Membrey, Cox, Schultz, Quaynor, Moore all played OK to good. Elliot got screwed big time with the unpaid free interference.
