Essendon aren't trading 4 & 5 for 2 &

Essendon don’t have pick 4 in the scenario where we get 2 for Oscar.

They have pick 5 and 6.

So have to factor in tigers taking two picks. Potentially being sharp and Cummings given they took big last year and will look to go mids this year.

I don’t think tigers take sharp, they need speed through the middle plus good ball use off HB. I had them taking gryl and linsday

If we can get him after our first 2 picks that would be amazing. Duursma Sharp and Schubert would be an awesome step in the right direction. That GC pick is probably right where he goes.

I would just absolutely love Essendon to be into CDT and need to trade with us. Sharp slides past Richmond imo. Sharp and Schubert at 5 & 6 would be chef's kiss.

My only worry with them losing Merrett is that if they go smalls they pick Cumming. Otherwise I think he gets past Richmond and Essendon.

Low chance they pick sharp. They picked smilie last year, and have Taranto and Hopper on the books for a few more years. Would make for a very very one paced midfield

For me he’s got a number of options, but i think playing on a wing or as a high half forward probably suits him the best.
Agree both Banfields have been busy so far.

Probably Wing or HBF. Harper looks the goods aye, he's probably Wing HFF at the next level.

Sounds like we need to lock Charlie in a room with Ollie Dempsey footage playing on repeat. With his size and marking ability, anything close to that would be a great get for us.

Edit: someone please cut up a clip from 17.50-18.50min mark of the 2nd quarter - Charlie chase, mark and kick. A fair bit to work with there.

Saying he’s 193cm on Rookie me but he looks taller than that….also says he’s 2006 born so last years draft.

they’re in a full rebuild with high picks. You take best available in that situation. They would 100% take Sharp if thought he was best player. Can sort out balance later when see who makes it. Especially since Taranto and hopper unlikely to be around when really challenging.
