Lions have got plenty of spirit. With their injury toll and hard run into the GF we have zero excuses. BUT, they won’t just lie down easily.

100 %. Their biggest chance is to jump us early and they know it- a reverse of what we did early in 2022 GF. We have to be better early than we were Friday night. If we are in front at 3/4 they can't overrun us.

I'm hearing you, but I'm thinking the emotion of the occasion could help these guys push through one more game.

Cameron has indeed been invisible but he is still dangerous imo.

Hipwood obviously won't be there, and from memory Fort told BT after the game he was pretty tired.

If they play Berry I think it'll signal some desperation on their part, but Neale is hard to assess.

Neale seems to be the only player with a ? over his selection, assuming they don't play Berry.

The unknown is what toll the games and travelling will take on the Lions legs.

Not sure how solid his source is, but Cam Luke mentioned on Crunch Time today that Henry's injury was actually a knock to the knee that caused his leg to go numb. No injections required and will be 100% right to go.

Man I hope so but I have a bridge to sell anyone that believes whatever we are putting out about injuries, let alone about injuries in grand final week.

If Kolo was match fit we could get away without risking an injured player but I think we are going to have to roll the dice for at least one of them, probably both, this time.

Not like Knevitt or Bews are going to move the needle for us here and to me it is almost impossible to pick anyone else at this stage given how long ago the VFL finished up.

You can never underestimate Brisbane. They have a stacked side, they've been here before and they know how to win it. There is no room for error - if we're off by even a couple of percent they'll make us pay.

But I'm feeling good about this one. We just look like we have a level that is hard for anyone else to match, and we also have been able to reach that level for sustained periods in both finals we've played so far. If we can do it again, we'll be VERY hard to beat.

This is fulfilling our Destiny. I expect to see a physical first quarter and then fatigue to catch up with the Lions towards the last 2 quarters.
