Gutted; based off what was debited, thought we were level 2 only to wind up with bloody level 1 section 34 Ponsford end.

I hate nothing more than being level 1 and even worse behind the goals. Facking Ticketek.

Anyone know of corporate seats available; would happily pay thousands than sit in these 💩 seats. 😡

It’s a weird system hey. I know a broncos fan in my group chat who purchased a cheap P2 membership very late in the year only to end up in basically the front row of level 2. He doesn’t even like AFL that much, he just wants to “fly down to see aerial ping pong before the real game is played the next day” to quote him.

Let me just say my daughter who is going with me always love sitting in the cheersquad. I got SQ6. Paid 777 or something. Happy to swap to cheaper ones as long as we get behind lions cheersquad or something.

Must have been one of the last. 11.05pm money came out. I'd went to bed having given up. Only thing is they're standing room. Which isn't a big deal for me because I'd already decided I was going to give my ticket up to my son so he can go with his brother. They're both young and fit so it'll wash over their heads. Enjoy the game you people who got a ticket and to others, unlucky.

I don't like the ground level either but have been there for the 23 & 24 GFs, I'm not as pissed off as you though McIvor.

What I am gobsmacked about is that they are classed as "best available" I simply do not get it, would rather be in level 4.. not right up the back though.

Needing a sanity check on this. Taking an 8 month old to the Grand Final. Crazy right?
Took my 1-month-old last year. Yours will be more mobile but holding her kept me super calm. The facilities are superb - staff give you a special code for the baby rooms - all the parents hang out and get to fill up on cold water in air conditioning. It’ll be great

The thing is everyone has different idea of what is their preferred seating area.
The AFL could sell out the GF 3 or 4 times over.
In reality every ticket could be say $500 and they would make more money and still sell out.

That would be very bad PR though, so they have a variety of prices but no children's prices

Reminds me of a time i was a Brisbane City cinema manager and Saturday evening prices were all adult prices.
That policy made the company way more money
I worked for both Greater Union (Albert Cinemas/Forum/George) and Hoyts (Odeon/Paris/ Regent)

100%, I'd take level 4 anywhere from forward pocket to forward pocket i.e. half way between the point post and 50m arc...I was so excited thinking I finally cracked level 2 which is what I'd always wanted only to wind up being basically in or behind the cheer squad with a trash view (basically between the point and goal post.

Will likely sell the two tickets we have if we can crack two corporate tickets.
Behind the goals at the city end is where all those Collingwood supporters love to sit, i’m sure you’ll have no problem offloading your tickets to one of them.
oh, wait… they didn’t make it… never mind.

Q29 row N - in front of the scoreboard. Level 4 directly above the ground level seats where I was last year. Is it completely roofless there or does the screen have shading above it?

We sat in those seats- in front of the scoreboard for the 2023 Grand Final, Q30 so almost in the same spot. He’s a picture for KISS- in shade at that time. We were in the shade to start, I can’t remember what happened after that.

Sweet, thanks for that!

My 11yo and I are in Q15, Row R - view below.

If anyone has 2 x Level 4 front tickets between the 50's they'd be keen to trade (we could just meet up once in the ground to organise), could be up for a straight swap. Or anything on Level 2.

it wouldn’t be my choice - but i flew to Europe and back multiple times with infants so sometimes these things are unavoidable!
Invest in some baby headphones if you have to do it, be prepared to get a pass-out of the ground if it gets too much… but you know your baby!
This could help:
