I'm really starting to agree with some other posts on this page, so hard to get motivated about your team when the decision makers of the league are all about money and looking after their own investment!! If the Tassie team comes in then how are clubs in the bottom 6 supposed to compete? The AFL really is more a Business and not a competition sport

Missed the following:

• Sending Ian Collins to manage the place after Elliott went down.
• Making us play most of our home games at Docklands including against all the other Docklands teams - except when we’re playing an MCG team, in which case we play at their home ground. Only * an exception.
• Giving Norf a giant swag of draft charity just after we emerged from a run of many years being worse and less self inflicted than them.
• Sending us to Perth twice almost every year while having far fewer home games vs. the Perth teams.
• Changing the game to non-stop running with no congestion, just after we’ve stacked our midfield with contested beasts that would have ripped the comp apart 5 years earlier.
• Letting that pro-filth and anti-blues DH Christian have a job. Thank god we have a great legal team.

At some point, we need to sit down and make a list of the variety of decisions the modern AFL has made which, while seemingly not done with any malice or deliberately, absolutely ****ed us over.

Here's some to get us started:

• the second we decide to go for a full rebuild, they remove runners from the game.
• when we start selecting for traits other than endurance, they bring in interchange caps.
• when we begin building a development setup around Luke Power, they call off the VFL due to Covid, leaving those players without footy for 12 months.
• when we say we don't want to rely on priority picks, the AFL suggest we should ask.
• when we ask, the AFL slap it down hard after Gerard Whately whines about it.
• they want to give GC handouts but we were worse in the year it happened, so they manufacture state level picks and wait a year before gifting GC a package that allows them to select Rowell and Anderson.
• we play ENGIE stadium terribly, and since 2020 have played up there 4 times, down here only when we've had a doubleup.
• when we have a prospective top 5 draft pick in Cody Walker, they're making it harder to obtain high level FS picks after Geelong, Collingwood, WB and Brisbane have won nine flags over the last 15 years with FS players prominent.

And add all the ridiculous MRO rulings that,are challenged and thrown out...
