Pretty meaningless stat.. trends in the game change and players are polling more votes in recent seasons. The fact is Daicos is a great player but on Brownlow night it doesn't matter what your average votes are, just how many you get on the night. Averaging 33 is impressive but meaningless if every year someone else polls more.

Edit: Rowell had to fight off Anderson on 25 votes to win. The next highest poller at Collingwood was J. Daicos on 12. Makes the Rowell Brownlow even more impressive in my opinion.
