We've seen it with Buckley, Judd, Ablett, etc (to name just a few), who seemed to be given more time to dispose of the ball, legally or not, after their respective wins.

Taranto also got like 20+ votes, do you remember him doing anything of note this season? Couple that with Viney outscoring NWM in THAT game and there is a serious flaw in this system. Something is seriously broken. Cripps did not have COMFORTABLY the greatest season of all time last year and Rowell did not rival it this year.
