yes I know about that. Doesnt that support my view that he is at least raising issues like these? I go into supermarkets and look at packages and the list of "plastic" ingredients is endless. I dont believe its necessary. The level of salt in some foods is ridiculous. Food companies can do what they like and all we end up is the lame 5 star system. Ban the crap. People are dying from diabetes and heart conditions and all i hear is the noise about viruses.

We all know that corporations pay these gov't people to shut up and I dont expect kennedy to be any different, but at least he is changing the narrative on food.

And as for your question, I said in my first post that I'm no expert. I'm here to post, not to run a court case against the food companies.

In a totally unrelated matter, I recently saw an interview with majorie taylor green. The US news media has told me that she is a total wacko. I listened to her about the power of the lobby and she doesnt seem so wacko to me. I probably disagree with a lot of what she stands for, but she didnt fit the template set by the US media and we know how the lobby runs the media networks.

So my point is to give kennedy credit when it's due.

No, I dont think so. I also dont think that a five star rating on food is going to make people eat better. However, if you put heroin on supermarket shelves, people would buy it in droves - probably kennedy as well. I was just proposing that it was nice to see someone in charge actually speak negatively about the junk ingredients in food. Now, you might think people in charge should just take their money and allow corporations to "regulate" themselves. Will he be successful? No, corporations have far too much power to allow anyone to stop them poisoning us. It took decades for tobacco to lose and you can still get it....even though it costs billions to the health budget.

He's only saying that stuff as a way to muddy the waters about other health advice, like vaccines. He's done zero about junk food and never will. But he's taking action against vaccines.

One of the Submarine captains was doing complicated maths in his head to fire torpedoes that none of the ship could do with the chart and was upset that his stamp collection got blown up (not the shipload of people who were with it).

Was awkward around people and never showed any emotion while killing thousands of merchant seamen and soldiers.

We're much better at diagnosing autism these days (plus the removal of aspergers as a distinct diagnosis) means there's more people with an autism diagnosis, but probably not more people with autism (as rate of people etc etc).

He said it may pose an increased risk. He did not black and white say it causes autism.

Regardless, 99% of medications have a pregnancy warning on them. Its nothing ground-breaking.

Also a quote from the AMA (Australian) President this morning.

Nowhere has anybody said that paracetemol causes autism. Its simply an increased risk.
Like wearing seatbelts in a car. Not wearing a seatbelt may increase your risk of dying in a car accident. But you might also drive your whole life and never have an accident either.

Edit: I just looked at a packet of Nurofen in our house. Guess what - it has a pregnancy warning. Not only if you are pregnant but also if you are trying to get pregnant.
