Not sure why we can't nail a deal with Ibusuki to sort that. Nish & Santos feeding him would be pretty potent in theory with the options of Piscopo on the left and Genreau driving forward from mid.

What are the rules with mutual terminations and the transfer window? I know we can still sign free agents, so if we agree mutually to terminate a contract does that free up a player to then sign a deal elsewhere in the A-League? Or would that be construed as a transfer because the mutual termination would be dependent upon another club agreeing a new contract?


The club really needs to find a way to get mutual with Traore & Reec who are a massive waste of our salary cap. Not sure what happened with Adama getting a new deal. Perhaps we didn't believe that we would secure both Lino & Davo.

Have we signed anyone officially as an injury replacement for BJ? As doing so would mean BJ is excluded from this season's salary cap.

I don't mind Da Silva. Laws was playing and starting in Switzerland before injuries got him. He'd be excellent CB back up.

I reckon we're done until the January trasfer window though. I wish we had another visa striker.

For the first time ever in 20 years I hesitated about my membership mostly because I'm in Europe for 6 weeks next year and looking at the fixture I will be only be able to attend 7 home games.

Went with a 5 game deal instead for myself and the kids.

Got the old follow up call by MVFC membership which is always appreciated, haven't had one of those for a few years now.

I'm not sure Vergos is the player for us to lead the line. I'd hope we bring in someone up front over the next 2 weeks.


One option is Dukey when the J-League finishes in December. They are actually having a 6 month off season due to J-League switching seasons to align with Europe.

At his age (34) and with the WC coming up surely we or another A-League club can sign Dukey up on a 2 and a half year deal.

Nah that will just encourage bandwagoners that will drop the club as soon as the profile player leaves, we actually have done better when we don’t land the marquee player leave that to City or Sydney FC. More than happy to find the diamonds in the rough, like Fred, Henandez, Toivonen etc..

We just got Juan Mata which i reckon has flop all over it
