Should be biggest ever attended GF and by a long way. It’d be disappointing if it’s not up by at least 25% and should by up by close to 35% .With Echuca football teams out, there is an expectation there will be a big crowd.

Yep indeed, adding to that start of school holidays, end of season footy trips, Basketball Vic Jamboree is in Echuca and people come for all over the state for that.Should be biggest ever attended GF and by a long way. small ground plays havoc26 scoring shots to 13 and lose by 2 points .
8.5 to 5.21.
Not sure I’ve ever heard of such poor conversion in a Grand final .
And disappointingly not a huge crowd .
Cobram wins u14’s , u17’s and senior flags .
It’s got good ammenities and the ground size oftens leads to close results which does add excitement . But the games aren’t great to watch from a football viewing perspective particularly now with zoning such a prevalent part in game planssmall ground plays havoc
First time observer of this competition and whilst it ended in a close game, Cobram must have had someone watching over them. Undefeated all year and then 5:21. Very poor performance and underwhelming game overall. It’s got good ammenities and the ground size oftens leads to close results which does add excitement . Congupna were terrible and lucky to get as close as they did. Trengrove by far best man on the ground until 3/4 time and him not playing the 4th quarter is the only reason they got close. Muller and Schaper both missed easy goals in the 1st quarter that ended up costly. Take it how you want but I think a group of boys that play for the club always beat a group that play for the coin when pressure comes on.First time observer of this competition and whilst it ended in a close game, Cobram must have had someone watching over them. I disagree, was a great game! Underdog won, favourite even tho they kicked themselves out of it fought to the end!First time observer of this competition and whilst it ended in a close game, Cobram must have had someone watching over them. I think crowds are always challenging to judge unless there all day as there is many phases of crowds at the footy with most attending in waves.I disagree, was a great game! Underdog won, favourite even tho they kicked themselves out of it fought to the end!
Even had a chance to win it if the Wiz didn’t miss in last 5 mins, but Beaso basicly jumped over his man to put pressure on the kick.
I have played a lot of games on the Moama ground and been lucky to win on that ground in September, it’s a battle and it hurts you. Space disappears with good team defence, ground opens up if one players switches off.
The Road will forever have nightmares, and Cobram will remember the thought of the impossible.
Great Grand final in both footy and netball. I think league be happy with the day.
It was a big crowd early they all left and Congupna don’t have a big following.I think crowds are always challenging to judge unless there all day as there is many phases of crowds at the footy with most attending in waves.
In saying that thought the crowd watching the seniors and the A grade netball was disappointing and it appeared smallest the MFL has seen for some time @ Moama .
Is it time for a change ?

Big get for Moama he is a big lump of a ladAlso with cobram in 3 of the footy finals wouldnt have helped the numbers, be interesting what the gate was and if it was an increase
Also news on Moama socials - Jake Carlisle to coach
Played at Craigieburn in 2023... not sure he left as the most popular member of the group. Then Wallan 2024-25Big get for Moama he is a big lump of a lad
Any idea of his footy the last few years?

Sorry... Meant when he left Craigieburn. No issues at Wallan.
Ended the season in dynamic form with multiple top 3 performances. Ripping fella.

Tristan mears off to barooga also, bit happeningMultiple clubs have been in contact with matt sorrenti from cobram, looking for more midfield opportunity in 26.
Good accurate kick at goal but not half the player he was 10 years ago must be 40.Moama signing ff dean galea
I have watched him closelyGood accurate kick at goal but not half the player he was 10 years ago must be 40.
Will give the umpires plenty
Have heard this, not sure they have the coin sorrenti will ask for. Word is that young gun jack beasly for the tigers has been in the weight room consistently, will look to be a huge presence in Cobram back to back aspirations.Multiple clubs have been in contact with matt sorrenti from cobram, looking for more midfield opportunity in 26.
