Stats do not represent his importance to Brisbane, he 100% makes us a better side. Has better tall forwards here too to take pressure off him.

Well that's my point. 3 years guaranteed, with triggers for more. As in, if he gets a serious injury or doesn't play enough games due to injury then he won't get more, but if he does then he will. If he's still getting games 3 years in, then he won't be falling off a cliff.

Taylor isn't a anything if that's the case. Very much a small forward or bust at this stage seeing how little he's shown in the last four years.

Tbh I think his combo of skillset and athleticism leaves him in no man’s land at AFL level.

His presence up forward could also means our forward line stays a bit more dynamic if Rankine is doing mostly midfield work.

Personally, I'd have gone for Will Brodie, who's 1 wood is contested possessions and has proven it at AFL level. Slow and not a great tank, but don't believe 80% gametime is required

Doedee/Burton is a reference to a poster a number of years ago who went on and on and on about how Burton was going to turn into the next big thing and Doedee would be crap. To be fair, injury prevented Doedee developing to his full potential but Burton starting heading downwards after his first 15 games.
