Any further leaks for the upcoming summer?

Retro seems to be the theme for most new kits.

Just saw the pants the women’s team were wearing in the World Cup squad announcement video that was filmed at CA’s media day - it looks like the new Australian ODI kit will be 2001-2003/World Cup 2003 inspired:

T20 kit looks like it will again be the inverse… hopefully asics have fixed up the rash vest/wet shirt material problem this time round:

Love that, and using a half interesting font for Australia across the chest, about time.

Yeah the fonts better than previous World Cups, the women will again be wearing the same ODI kit that’s been worn since the men’s 2023 ODI WC however.

Waiting to launch the new kit for the men’s home India ODI series obviously, think they could’ve just put the women in the new kit too 🤷🏻‍♂️

Must say if ‘retro’ now means 2003 not only does that make you feel old it does leave me feeling slightly annoyed that they aren’t going further back and we might never get 90s ‘lightning bolts’ or ‘barcodes’ ever brought back

I know the black was controversial but kinda sucks that T20 kits have now just become the same as the odi kit instead of something different

I hated the black T20 kits with a passion but agree at least the different coloured elements on the shirt were kinda different and at least the material they used back then on those ones didn’t get sopping wet.

Given they’ve been the supplier for 13 years Asics have for years now just released basic, boring and plain kits with just the same old coloured side panels efforts, even getting rid of the southern cross as a design element which was a dumb decision, hopefully they at least bring that back on this new kit.

Would be interesting to know if Cricket Australia have gone to tender recently for a kit supplier or if asics’ deal just rolls over, I thought New Balance would’ve eventually taken over given they’re the kit sponsor for every top level team except the men’s & women’s Australian, Australia A and under 19s teams.

New Aussie kits are out… and surprise, surprise asics have missed the mark for mine again. The weird quarter shoulder sleeve indigenous pattern makes it look horrible and again refused to bring back the southern cross despite apparently paying homage to the 2003 World Cup kit.

It just looks so disjointed. The side panels don't match the top, literally an extra line of green outside the white on the yellow might have helped, the same for the slightly lighter green on the green kit, but it just feels like two separate designed kits merged into one. And sure have the indigenous design, but the yellow just stands out way too much to the rest of the design and makes it look awkward.

Asics really needs to go, they haven't had a good design in ages, other countries are getting such good designs, or at least better ones. This years again had so much potential, but totally missed the mark.

Playing shirts look the same as previous years or is this one from last year with the sponsor on it for a promo?
New suppliers, I'd be highly doubtful, plus the fact the jersey is being shown only on the back that this is what they'll run
