Unfortunately he’s constitutionally ineligible to stand, as he was born in Uganda to non-US citizen parents. Ludicrous law, especially in a country for which migration has been so key, but I can’t see any move to change it in the next three years, unfortunately.

Gavin Newsom pretty much doing everything right so far in terms of positioning himself as the Democratic nominee.

He's far from the perfect candidate, but I think he can pretty easily beat Vance or whomever from the GOP runs.

There will be a whiteout of BS coming out of conservative media, so much that many of the proles will forget who has been shoveling their misery on them. He will have to be fantastically charismatic to knock a hole in it so he can deliver his policy ideas in a teenage level of language.
Vance will eff up, but how many who might sway their votes away from him, will know?
