Add in all the guys on new contracts that can't be moved pre-December 15th I think it's only Durant, Sengun, Thompson, Eason & Sheppard we can trade currently.

I figured disabled player exception would open the cap up. Insane that it doesnt. They probably just need to stay with what they have. Nothing youd want to trade away

Have been gifted tickets to the NBA NBL fan night Saturday, have the Pelicans announced whether they are sending out a full strength squad or not?

* the Pelicans

This is why i'll be going

Damn I bet no one told Zion if he missed 2 free throws in a row he could get a free cheeseburger.

Went to the fan night as was gifted 2 tickets for my birthday, didn't have huge expectations going in as I didn't think many if any of the Pelicans players would be involved but it was a fun event. Jordan Poole was the highlight of the night taking half court shots pre event and even wore sunnies inside with a hoodie!!

Fair to say he was a man of the people , happily signed stuff for people etc.

The event outside that was free wasn't to bad, thought the Globetrotters would have done more but they certainly got the kids involved.

Had a night out with the wife in the city after and upon coming back to our suite at Crown we had the pleasure of sharing a lift with Jordan Poole himself, Kevin Looney, Bey and Alvarado and they were great, when they entered the lift and saw us there they smiled and a couple said the aussie "G'day Mate" and had a laugh, we had a quick chat with them and they said they were loving their time. Given we were at a hotel and in a lift in particular we didn't ask for photos.

Saw a few of the staff members and dance crew also at different stages at the hotel. Seems like they sent a lot of people over here for the event.

The players are huge in person , just the height in particular you were like holy christ Looney was massive and the young fella that was in the lift with us the next morning Hunter I can't recall his last name but he would have had to have been 7ft.

The Pels are a team of the people.

Just not very many people.

Melbourne/Victoria has always been Australia's Hoops Capital, much as Sydney/NSW has always been for association football.

The Pels crowds is not a shock, even though most people came to see Ray Ray and KG.

Imagine how packed out it would if the Bulls, Celtics or Lakers came to town ?

How did this suddenly become about Boston?

Those 3 teams are currently the most popular in Australia i believe.

The media and press coverage here would have been much higher if we came

Seen less than 10 people (tops) wearing a Pels Jersey in Melbourne over the years.

Dynamite.

Imagine picking the Celtics over Golden State.

Seen a lot more fans in the streets over the years with Celtics jerseys than Dubs tbh
