Ahh that would probably make more sense.Oh wow, I interpreted it as Suns the only club interested in him, so its either them or he won't play AFL.

Another one of our first round draft success stories to go with Ling and Stephens. Our recruiting has been saved by our academy and late round / rookie picks.

Konstanty at 20, then Darcy Jones at 21, and Gruz at 22.Jacob Konstanty, North Melbourne's finest
If he was shown the door because of the injury to Mills, this is a bit petty of the club in my opinion.Konstanty at 20, then Darcy Jones at 21, and Gruz at 22.
I would have been happy with Jones or Gruz
But in Konstanty's defence, I do wonder how much of his failure at the Swans was because of the injury he inflicted on Mills, as opposed to a lack of talent. At that point, it seemed like his papers were stamped no matter what he did. Understandable considering he crippled the club captain.
I will always wonder who started that fight between Mills and Konstanty. Was it just rough housing gone wrong? Or was there real malice in it? Was Konstanty defending himself? Or did he start it?
Watching Konstanty this season, he does look like an AFL standard footballer.
There was NO fight , this is unbelievable . Horse just didn't like Jacob !Konstanty at 20, then Darcy Jones at 21, and Gruz at 22.

Yeah that's what I tend to think. But I accept there's a lot of nuance that we don't know. If Konstanty was drunkenly picking fights with people at his first Mad Monday, then I can understand why the Swans pushed him out.If he was shown the door because of the injury to Mills, this is a bit petty of the club in my opinion.
Im sure Voss would have wanted to do anything to keep Curnow, because as you said, its his head on the chopping block. But Curnow is obviously unhappy with the situation and wants out at all costs. Hopefully Carlton can support Voss through a restructre without high expectations, otherwise Voss could quickly fall out of favour as the losses continue to pile up.Yes just saw that. If he wants to go to Geelong why would we pick him up if we are his second choice. The way Ralph spoke he doubts if Geelong can get it done and Carlton won’t deal because they see Charlie as a potential 80 goals for the year. I tend to agree and don’t think it will get done. Imagine if Carlton let him go and he is kicking bags and Carlton are 0-5 next season, Voss’s job will be on the line.
Probably why it won't get done. Geelong won't be able to hide a huge chunk of his salary in side-deals.I hope Geelong somehow make this work, they will have to do something crazy to facilitate a trade either losing key players in their system or scraficing draft picks. This isnt a Free agent who can accept lower $ and get topped up with farms / Cows or Cotton On. This is club who will need to trade to get him.
Curnow to Geelong is very simular to coming to Syd, will be a nice toy to have but really doesn't address the real list issues they have.

Juzzy is priority on that list assuming we don't trade him in the next couple of weeksA bit boring, but latest list of 2026 free agents:

2026 free agents revealed: Red-hot Lion among footy's most wanted
A sensational finals series has shot Zac Bailey into the upper echelon of wanted playerswww.afl.com.au
For us:
SYDNEY
Joel Amartey
Harry Cunningham
Joel Hamling*
Justin McInerney
Well it's interesting, because we know we've started talks with Amartey, but nothing with him, publicly at least.Juzzy is priority on that list assuming we don't trade him in the next couple of weeks
Great player , but works at the Filth and will probably go thereAssuming we do trade/lose folks like Lloyd or Florent, how keen would we be on another Fothergill-Round-Mitchell medal winner?

He's on Trade Radio at the moment, sounds like a kid with a good head on his shoulders, has good stats, and is a midfielder-defender from what I've read.
Not sure he has a problem. The pies can just offer him more guarenteed game time. For a mid 20 year old, trying to establish himself id be taking the pies offer too.Buller can get stuffed as far as I'm concerned, what's his problem with the Swans anyway?
Exact same reason we are getting Rosas. We offered more money and a better role than GCS could offer. Not sure he has a problem. The pies can just offer him more guarenteed game time. For a mid 20 year old, trying to establish himself id be taking the pies offer too.

Petracca has officially requested a trade
He didn't nominate a team, so I assume the Suns are in with a chanceReally not sure how Adel have the assets he is contracted so Melb can walk away, is he happy with GC as an option
