the distribution curve of afl salaries would have a lot more players below the average compared to the outliers on the upside. The highly paid players skew the average up.I don't think that Median is that informative either with so many on mimimum wage way below the mean. Median is the 22nd player. It'd just tell you what a fringe player gets paid. Median of the senior players would be good.
Judging by reports, Elliott at 650 would be below Daicos, Daicos, Moore, JDG, Cameron, Hill, Maynard, Houston, Perryman - similar to McStay - no idea about Crisp, IQ, Schultz, McCreery. I don't think he's even close to being overpaid relative to likely performance.

Agree. I just don't think median is a good measure for senior players either. Most clubs would be paying as little as they can for the bottom half of the list - including the median salary, so that they can pay as much as they can for the senior team. I think you've got to isolate and only look at the senior guys for it to have any meaning when looking at the relative salaries of the senior team.the distribution curve of afl salaries would have a lot more players below the average compared to the outliers on the upside. The highly paid players skew the average up.
Yes, it's one of those goals that if you didn't know what round it was being played, you would think it was the winner in a prelim. The gradual loudening of the roar as it leaves his boot still gives me goosebumps
one of the greatest moments in the history of the world.
I was in the 2nd level of the Ponsford, the noise was incredibleI was sat behind the goals. I was shaking.
I think that was the MCG foundations as wellI was sat behind the goals. I was shaking.
There's a clear second place in that I would have thought.I was just above that on level 2 with Carlton dipshits. Up there with my kids being born as great life moments
When I say seeing my Carlton mate in literal tears at the second it went through, right next to me Level 4 that day is one of the best things ever. I mean it. God, I live for that clubs failure year after year.one of the greatest moments in the history of the world.
Were your kids born on Level 2?I was just above that on level 2 with Carlton dipshits. Up there with my kids being born as great life moments
Love him to play on a wing, needs the motor tho, would be so damaging if he can get extremely fit to play there.I have heard Hill is keen to move higher up the ground and be more involved next year. Obviously would have to get fitter
I nearly could have conceived both in that moment such was my delightWere your kids born on Level 2?
Both in the same moment? You're certainly multi-skilledI nearly could have conceived both in that moment such was my delight
I think it is pretty evident that the Collingwood system is the not the easiest to pick up for a new player. Not when we are paying Perryman $900k per season, and no disrespect to him as he had a good first season and expecting a better 2026 from him.
He meant two different mothers. He was sitting near some very hot sisters. Both in the same moment? You're certainly multi-skilled
income decile distributionI don't think that Median is that informative either with so many on mimimum wage way below the mean. Median is the 22nd player. It'd just tell you what a fringe player gets paid - I don't think it'd be that far above minimum wage. Median of the senior players would be good.

Jesus that would have completed an afternoon to remember. He meant two different mothers. He was sitting near some very hot sisters.
Probably gets some time on the wing next year then over the next few years makes it full timeLove him to play on a wing, needs the motor tho, would be so damaging if he can get extremely fit to play there.
