I haven't watched him. Good age, and decent size but is he better than what we have? The dees have also pulled out for Derksen. Heard over the last few days that we have entered the convo.
Seems to be over the ACL's and in a great age bracket to help build a long term defence. And a mature body which is another important factor24 year old out of the Suns academy. 175cm genuine lockdown type. Played 19 games this year mostly as a pressure forward which was a career high next best was in his debut 2020 season where he played 15 and burst onto the scene as that lockdown small. In between he has had 2 ACL's and played 2,9,2 & 8 in his other four seasons.

What will be the cost? A 2nd or 3rd rounder?
If we are going to back in JOD & Buss personally would go the younger developing option Frost is a known quantity. Who you would hope doesn't get many games.Probably not, but I guess the question is if it’s better to take a shot on a younger guy or get a Frost type in for depth.
Suns pretty stacked for talent F3 may get it done. They have more academy kids coming so might be OK with letting him goBuderick is out of contract, expect a future 3rd round to get it done

So I would prefer to develop the next candidate as Lobb only has 2 maybe 3 years left. Worthwhile risk imo
All uncontracted Tasmanians are treated as free agents. Sanders deal ends at the same time as Tassies likely entry so will be a free agent unless he extends. Means we’ll get a compo pick, not one of Tassies picks. Even a band 1 will be in the 20’s or 30’s. We really need Sanders to sign.If Sanders requests a trade to Tassie, I’d expect we’d be compensated very well. Tassie have draft picks to burn.
Nah his current contract ends one year before they come in. Which is why his management only want him to sign a 1 year extension. All uncontracted Tasmanians are treated as free agents. Agreed. Before his two ACL's he was genuinely the best young lockdown defender in the game.
I believe a club losing an out of contract player/free agent will be able to activate a compensation pick at any stage over 3 years which does give some flexibility to avoid the drafts Tassie have monopoly over or in cases of a top 4 finish. I haven't had this confirmed though. All uncontracted Tasmanians are treated as free agents. Sanders deal ends at the same time as Tassies likely entry so will be a free agent unless he extends. Thats a little better. The Tassie drafts could push a band 1 all the way out to the 30’s. But do we really want to wait 2-3 years before we use the pick?I believe a club losing an out of contract player/free agent will be able to activate a compensation pick at any stage over 3 years which does give some flexibility to avoid the drafts Tassie have monopoly over or in cases of a top 4 finish. All depends where the list sits at the time. I believe that Tassie have higher priorities at this early stage so its most likely Sanders (and most Tassie kids) arange to fall off contract at Tassies inclusion to push their current club for a healthier deal just as much as a potential move.Thats a little better. And do his parents have a real good marriage? But does he live at home with both parents?
Would that be involved in the Buku TradeSpoke to my contact at the club this evening to try to get further details on Budarick's contract offer and a potential trade cost but couldn't get any more information their unfortunately.
He did however tell me initial talks with Carlton kicked off today with the Dogs having eyes on the compensation pick Blues will receive for Jsos.
Come into the kitchen via the wall with the severed leg you got from a morgueAbout time , I have Vivian level boredom with this draft period, was so close to smashing my kitchen to pieces.
Sorry yes will edit to clarify.Would that be involved in the Buku Trade
Harbrow?Budarick will be the first ex-Sun to play for the Bulldogs, and will be the first player trade we've done with them in either direction.
Was it a trade or Suns getting gifted initial players on list ?Harbrow?
