Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I agree. Without Charlie being part of a trade to GC, it’d be tough to use our picks to get Humpty and still secure Walker next year. But that’s the kind of problem we’d gladly welcome and work through

I guess if they believe in their culture and can get him on a heavily incentivised deal, it could be worth a shot (they likely need to get creative with the cap). They do have some strong characters and a good coach. If he gets out of hand, he can go missing again on a low wage.

An aggressive, advantageous trade for CFC, it would be a great outcome for the Baggers, not sure GC will have the appetite. Perhaps if we sent JSOS compensation pick their way it may just make it slightly more palatable.

This could just be the media getting the EB news a few days late. Will probably be reported in a day or two that he isn't leaving.

As I've said before if there is any sort of chance of getting it done I would be pursuing it. Cripps should be calling him personally as we speak. Idolised him growing up.

I reckon Suns will hold Humphrey unless the offer is obscene. They have no reason to let him go. Will have enough currency to get Trac and match bids with picks they already have plus what they get for Flanders. If they wanted Curnow he might unlock that deal but doesn't seem they do.
