Still not worth the five years he has left on his contract. Even if the Dees payed half, we would still be looking at around $600k per year. That’s $3 million!
I doubt Oliver will still be going strong into his 30s. It’s just too big a risk.

Two years is generous if we sit idle, our midfield is teetering on the edge of being equivalent to Gold Coast’s midfield the first year they entered the competition and only had GAJ.
Should absolutely be into Oliver, and we should’ve been into Worpel.

No but it greatly affected the value/quality of our list. How good is Grundy this year? We are paying him to be that good. Treloar was AA last year, we don’t have many on our list. Paying huge money to Oliver could impact money, bring in a poor player and trash the culture. Would Fly consider Oliver a winner, as Fly demands of his layers? The prospect of 1.4m and playing VFL is that a winner?
