I reacted to TakingThePies with poor attitude. I can’t see a point to his post other than acting like a troll.

1. Elliott is now a contracted Pie, FA status was not pursued.
2. Elliott wanted to be a Pie. Accepted under the Suns offer in years and $
3. Elliott is 32 years old and as a trade does not hold much value. He may enable a trade but will not fill the pies component.
4. For the trade to happen Elliott must want to leave. What would change his current want to say?
5. Petracca is GC bound, what $ for Elliott remain.
6. For Humphrey/Elliott trade to occur what else does Collingwood supply? It would be further player(s) or trading future picks with another club involved, GC wants players.
7. The circumstances of the GC trade for Elliott have passed and don’t apply to now.
8. Elliott is a popular pie, something would die in the team.
9. Humphrey is contracted.

You could put any player on the list forward not named Daicos and they are more likely to be traded than Elliott. That would be the most unprofessional decision I’ve seen in the game and set us back 5 years. Absolute madness!
