List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)

GWS being chirped for having a Subway platter when they met Clayton Oliver.

I think their list boss was a bit offended.

Twomey: what's Starc worth?
Brisbane list kent: A LOT.
(Didn't make that up, it's what he really said)
If he is worth a lot then why don't they match and say no to a trade

At least Eagles been clear that Oscar was worth X and nothing more, hence the pick 2 incoming. I still think if we were top 8 material then we still wouldn't be matching Brisbane's contract.

Lions list manager on trade radio now.

Dickhead literally said waiting on Starcevich deal before we lodge. What a campaigner.

only because thats only hand they have.

wait till FA closes, then trade for Starc. If no band 2 because of Starc, match Allen and bit on Annable pick 1. Even with pick 23, Brisbane are getting way more than they would and are trying to hurt us because of our circumstances unrelated to Brisbane. Doing this in itself should invite bid on Annabel. This is hand we should go with, irrespective what we want to do.

Lions have much more to lose here than we do. they are probably thinking our list manager is a dumbass (and they would be right).

Absolutely nothing from StK re Liam Ryan, haven’t spoken to us yet apparently.

GWS were saying that StK had basically offered a junk pick for Aleer, and they were firm on it’d be a future and usable - basically a F2.

Oh; apparently no one has enquired about Jack Steele yet.

If i was Allen id be pissed about the Lions being difficult because him becoming a Lion is a simple FA and should be done straight away.

Yep totally. Both he and Starcevich should be easy deals done in good faith. Brisbane can f*ck right off as far as I'm concerned.

Yep we got ourselves in a mess last year with relying on the trade of TB to get the Baker deal done, Hawks knew it and leveraged it.

We have somehow done it to ourselves again. Nudged Oscar to get pick 2 and got tied up on a FA with a player from the same club.

Need to work through a bit now instead of it being straight forward.

Pretty much sums it up.

West Coast continues to think it is somehow smarter than the rest of the competition, when all it is doing is telegraphing its intentions, making it so very easy for opponents to take advantage.

The club should never have showed any public commitment or interest in B.Starcevich until all dealings concerning O.Allen free agency were concluded.
