Similar things were said of sidebottom, before he went to shepp utd, and a couple years later was the best midfielder in country Victoria. He could also go the other way too, were similar things also said of elliott Powell when he first came in?What I was implying is that if he hasn’t grown up and improved his attitude he will not last in the ovens and Murray at a club like albury. The kid/family have history of packing up and leaving if they receive any type of feedback that offends them or they don’t agree with. I’d imagine a strong cultured club like albury is going to give you honest constructive criticism and I don’t think he will be able to receive it.
Lochie will not see the 2026 year out at the Albury Sportsground
Very valid points you have here. And there’s also been bush league medalists who struggle to crack ovens and Murray seniors. I’m basing my opinion on what I’ve seen with him at our cricket club and the poor attitude he has. Hope I’m proved wrong because the fella can obviously play the game.Similar things were said of sidebottom, before he went to shepp utd, and a couple years later was the best midfielder in country Victoria. Speaking to a member of the Corowa committee at the club tonight and they’re not real happy with Hanrahan going to Yarrawonga. Does anybody on here know why he chose Yarra over Corowa?

Thought they’d be throwing the kitchen sink at a high quality midfielder.Nope, signed at Montrose

O&M reserves flag locked in 2026Albury announce a midfielder from the Picola league. Has a decent resume
I found this one interesting too! I had heard talk about Cressa having a pretty antagonistic, to put it politely, attitude towards CDHBU and Corowa past players that went out there during the recess and then failed to return. Could this bad blood have possibly played a part?Very valid points you have here. And there’s also been bush league medalists who struggle to crack ovens and Murray seniors. I don't blame Cressa with the rats desertingI found this one interesting too! I’ve said it before but the whole Corowa cluster issue continues to rear its ugly head. Has been great to see Rutherglen improve over the last couple of years, but C/R have regressed and will be lucky to improve next season with their point being slashed, Wahgunyah are barely holding on, and it looks as though the alphabet will lose a bit of quality. It’s all looking like it will end in mutually assured destruction because the morons running these clubs are either too stubborn, proud or just plain ignorant of reality
Have a look at CR departures mid year, and their number one ruck not returning next year. Justin Lewis is still at the Rovers, the Wilson boys still with Yarra and Cresswell has failed to attract and keep any decent players.I found this one interesting too! No he won’t beWill the great alma fud be back in brown and good next year? Had a cracking year in Perth and was on track to kick 10 in the granny until he had a hole put in his forehead
Will we see any utesTo O&M Live;
Send yer camera crew up to NTFL and see what they do. It’s 100% better viewing than the stuff you throw up.
Fred Longmire got his wish of Corowa being a retirement town but in turn has ruined the football dynamic. The town is dying and there are no young adults around anymore. The pubs that are still operating are shut by 9pm on the weekends, wahgunyahs only pub also shut full time now.I found this one interesting too! Dunno.Bit harsh
You reckon they might be better funded up there?
What benefit are you going to get in TDFL senior football if you shut Wahgunyah down? How many of them would get a game at Rutherglen?Fred Longmire got his wish of Corowa being a retirement town but in turn has ruined the football dynamic. The knuckleheads who are calling the shots at the surrounding football clubs need to put differences aside and accept the fact that they need to work with each other to survive. Corowa need to stop trying to sell the story that they need an ovens and Murray club for the local kids to play at the highest level they can. Plenty of kids are picked up from tdfl and hume league if they’re good enough
Chandler and Lane are the names being thrown around. I think Corowa and cresswll will find it hard to recruit , this is the 3rd club he’s coached in the ovens and Murray now so he’s probably exhausted most of his contacts and unless there’s some aspiring cereal box packers or pig pushers there’s not exactly much to offer potential recruits from a working perspectiveI’m eagerly waiting to see what recruits Corowa bring in this summer.
The live stream is done by the league itself and has nothing to do with 2ayDunno.
It’s not harsh. They whizz the O&M camera so fast when the ball’s kicked that they’re there half a hour before it lands, it’s a rush. They zoom in and lose themselves. It can’t be that difficult.
The commentary is really good, the camera work is shite!
Take your nausea meds if you’re gunna watch![]()
