Playing footy may be his medicine but training is the foul taste that comes with it.Yeah I suspect it’s his medicine when it’s on his terms.

This. If a gun is available at a heavy discount, you’re lining up to grab him. Same went for Stringer at the time.If the problem was us rather than him there would be 16 other clubs lining up get him.
Did you expect otherwise, he probably played because they had a good after game p*ss up plannedJon Ralph reporting in this mornings HS that JUH participated in this weekends carnival without the clubs permission.
St Mary's... I thought I had shielded myself from that terror and those nightmares. As a former St Mary’s committee member and lifelong green and gold man, I’d advocate sending him there!

Yeah a history of success that’s for sure. Some very close mates played with them for a long time and that’s how I got involved with them. I left Darwin in 2016, so have only watched on from afar since then.St Mary's... I thought I had shielded myself from that terror and those nightmares.
Honestly Hob, your mob is one of the best run clubs in Australia so kudos to you.

But he asked Gold Coast permission. How does that make sense.Jon Ralph reporting in this mornings HS that JUH participated in this weekends carnival without the clubs permission.
One of those Longs was my tour guide through Kakadu earlier this year. Fantastic personI've still got a pair of Nightcluff footy shorts from a trip to Darwin in Feb 1988 (due to Magic McLean coming from there), but saw a couple of NTFL finals that year. St Mary's waltzed through theirs on the way to the granny, from memory there were 4-5 Longs in the team.
Always a Long or two coming through!I've still got a pair of Nightcluff footy shorts from a trip to Darwin in Feb 1988 (due to Magic McLean coming from there), but saw a couple of NTFL finals that year. Seems to fail to grasp it’s his job and is more interested in playing for fun or as a release when he needs. No harm in that but he needs to be honest with himself and others. It’s not for everyone.Yeah I suspect it’s his medicine when it’s on his terms.
Yeah if footy is his medicine we would be understanding, but not in an environment where he can fulfil turning up to training, we would be understanding if he wanted to retire from the commitments at AFL level, go to a cashed up local club, earn 100 grand that way and only have to train once a week, if at all. He can still get a kick on the weekend if it's just the running around on a field that gives him fulfilment and not the all-around packing of being an AFL player.Yeah I suspect it’s his medicine when it’s on his terms.
Rogers already wants out as will Leo and and Jed soonIf Gold Coast can make it work, however, Montagna believes Hardwick’s side, coming off its first finals appearance, could be a force.
“We spoke about getting Petracca would make them frightening. Imagine if they got the best out of Jamarra. Good luck to the rest of the competition trying to stop them,” the St Kilda legend added.
“And they’ve got young talent that weren’t even getting a game this year, Jake Rogers, Leo Lombard and Jed Walter weren’t in the side in the back-end of the season.”
Of course thr AFL are all for propping the nepo babies up more. Looks like we are too.
Don't think there is any guarantee of that.Rogers already wants out as will Leo and and Jed soon
Will have a very unhappy team thenDon't think there is any guarantee of that.
Even if there was, they have Academy kids left right and centre
Clearly doesn’t see it as an employer and employee dynamic anymore.Absolutely laughable from JUH and his manager to not inform the club that he would be playing competitive football over the weekend.
Dogs found out third hand afterwards lol

I don’t think JUH can refuse to do a medical and if he did suns would move onWhat happens if he refuses to do a medical for GC? Do we just have to keep him?
Sounds like we’ve wiped our hands of him and it’s the AFL people who he’s unhappy with. Dunno it’s all odd, but he is not right in any sense. Head, body, life.
