yeah interesting, Steve Hocking was very available for interviews before the Grand Final.Steve Hocking asleep at the misogynist wheel.
"Caroline Wilson also called out Geelong chief Steve Hocking, saying he had “remained silent since the Mad Monday disaster”.
“Geelong’s response after the club’s annual post-season dress-up – once a fun and largely original diversion from the brutal realities of competitive sport – was to release a generic apology after 48 hours of argy-bargy with head office. No individual put their name to the statement which declared costumes would be banned forthwith,” Wilson wrote.
“Frankly, it was a pathetic response which completely missed the point."

He apparantly used his influence to talk the AFL out of issuing fines as well. It's a joke.yeah interesting, Steve Hocking was very available for interviews before the Grand Final.
Geelong envy 'comes with the territory' he proudly declared, on the front page of The Age.
Nek minnit, the favourites Geelong get annihilated, then feature homophobic and misogynistic events at their end-of-year bash.
Now suddenly Steve Hocking is completely unavailable?
He still should have fronted the media for the club. He is the CEO.He apparantly used his influence to talk the AFL out of issuing fines as well. It's a joke.
ROAR! Dressed up as footballers? The mad Monday culprits were pretty pathetic in the midfield on GF day.
So you'd be ok if they were taking the pi55 out of your mum?Talk about a monumental overreaction and confected outrage over SFA. I reckon Bailey Smith is a DH and a smartarse. But the reaction in some quarters is laughable.
If a similar skit had been directed at John Ralph, Sam McClure, Eddie McGuire, or any other male for that matter, then everyone would have had a good laugh and we would have moved on quickly. Anyone who objected would have been told (justifiably) to get a life and grow a sense of humour.
But because the skit was directed at dear precious Caroline Wilson, all hell breaks loose. The perpetually outraged and triggered spring into action, amid confected howls of misogyny and every other “ist” or “ism” that springs to mind.
FFS, what absolute BS!
Be careful with this rhetoric. It implies something that I'm not sure you'd want to accuse us of. Defamation.yeah interesting, Steve Hocking was very available for interviews before the Grand Final.

pretty much what GWS did last year and the AFL still found a way to suspend playersFine with this move personally. I thought there were some inspired ones this year and a couple of pretty ordinary/tone deaf ones.
They'll probably keep having the day, just have it at someone's house and leave your phones at the door.
Caro and the ABC accused them, not me!Be careful with this rhetoric. It implies something that I'm not sure you'd want to accuse us of. Defamation.
Caroline Wilson in her article this weekend says that she didn’t have a big problem with the dressing up but the social media posts and emojis that he posted on the pictures was what she and many other females took offence to. Saying she had never looked better and adding an emoji to suggest sexual arousal is disrespectful and is offensive This was just after he’d been offensive and disrespectful in what was described as an “expletive laden tirade’ to a female photographer that had done nothing other than do her job of taking photos at an open training session.Talk about a monumental overreaction and confected outrage over SFA. I reckon Bailey Smith is a DH and a smartarse. But the reaction in some quarters is laughable.

Lol. The facts are all there, there's photos of everthing and Hocking went M.I.A again.Be careful with this rhetoric. It implies something that I'm not sure you'd want to accuse us of. Defamation.
When I’m getting attacked by a two faced peanut like you, I know I’m on the right track, and am very comfortable my opinion is correct. So you'd be ok if they were taking the pi55 out of your mum?
You're a disgrace you sound like Sam Newman.
Lol. The facts are all there, there's photos of everthing and Hocking went M.I.A again.
He must be the worst leader of a football club since Alan Bond.
What the hell do Geelong players need to do to earn a fine from the AFL these days?
It's a ridiculous joke how much they are protected.
A fine regarding misogyny, making girls cry and homophobia I was referring to.

Bailey Smith is a jerk.
Their Captain surfs in a suit. Why you would ever have a Mad Monday open to media is beyond me.
