Starcevic, Robertson, and Brisbane's 1st (18) for 15 (Hawthorn's 1st) and 19 (Eagles 2nd)

Brisbane upgrade their 1st rounder by 2 or 3 spots and get the Eagles' early 2nd rounder on top.

What’s even better is that WC got the equivalent of 22 and Freo even ended up with some bonus points…don’t be surprised if Freo end up being involved in a cheeky late trade that nets Brisbane some extra points…this is why The Dom is so good, no one has to lose, everyone comes out OK or better than Ok

This might be the first trade I've ever seen where everyone seems to be worse off than when they started.

It's a good deal for Brisbane.

Now they can do something like this for Ah Chee, which I mentioned over 2 weeks ago (this was pre-TDK compo).

Brisbane trade Ah Chee + Pick 15 + 49 to Adelaide for Pick 14 + 41 + Future 2nd

With the 3-way trade between WCE/Freo/Bris, the Ah Chee trade becomes this:

Brisbane trade Ah Chee + Pick 16 + 52 to Adelaide for Pick 15 + 47 + Future 2nd

Adelaide doesn't care about Brisbane moving up 1 spot, because Brisbane will use that pick to match Annable, so the pool of players that Adelaide can choose doesn't change at all.

From an eagles perspective, you would have been closer if you said 22 for Starce straight swap.

22 for Starcevich

16 + 23 for 12 + 33.

Nah, mullin and o"Connor are just taggers, I don't see them winning many one on one marking contests or intercept marking, just scagging, pushing and pulling. Starce is a gun who WC might push up into the midfield. The shock factor
that they brought to the qualifying final was easily dealt with in the GF.
