• Brandon Starcevich arrives at West Coast in a three team deal
• Tylar Young (Richmond) arrived at West Coast in exchange for Pick 38.
• Deven Robertson (Brisbane) has agreed to join West Coast and will be signed on to the rookie list after being delisted by Brisbane

Out:

• Oscar Allen joins Brisbane as a FA - West Coast receive Pick 2 as compensation
• Liam Ryan and a 2027 R3 pick has been traded to St Kilda for a 2026 R2 pick
• Campbell Chesser has been traded to Carlton for Pick 41
• Jayden Hunt announces retirement
• Jack Petruccelle, Callum Jamieson and Loch Rawlinson not offered new contracts
• Coen Livingstone joins the list of players not offered a new contract

Most drafts have a "good 30" before you start throwing darts. This year probably 20.

We also got pick 52 in the trade, which may come in handy for matching bids on Banflied or an NGA.

We landed a F2nd by moving 2 spots down the 1st round in the teens a couple of years ago. Essendon paid up to land Hobbs before Port did.

We paid a F3rd to move up two spots in the 3rd round to land Hall.

What do you think the cost of a 4 pick upgrade from 16 to 12 should have been?

What does that mean we have to pay to move up from 13 to 7 ?

We can guarantee him a spot, and we have excess rookie spots.

The only problem is we can’t trade a guy onto the rookie list. If we could he would have 100% been included in the Starcevich trade.

Bris will delist, and we will put him on the RL via the SSP

This would account for the price paid for Starcevich.

Potential to get something in that range for Chesser. Apparently, we have asked for Carlton's pick 21, whereas Carlton sees his value closer to their pick 40.

So, maybe somewhere in between?

A pick in 20’s probably gets chewed up by an academy bid. Jones had a stronger draft year football wise but i doubt Williams gets past pick 20-30 when it’s a draft where recruiters will be looking for players that have elite traits.

Its a feather in T Williams hat that he has come from further back than all the NGA's on our list and looking like the best in the draft.
Its crap that they rise in draft stocks as we have basically had FA out of our NGA players to date, but if we have higher quality then I will take it.
