As good a team as Lions will be next year and hats off to them for three GF appearances in a row. But can’t see them winning again with a fourth GF appearance.
Their depth is scary. They can manage their senior players throughout the season and have them ripe for the finals.

They only have one player whose absence could potentially derail their effort to make a serious run next year , and that is Harris Andrews .

****ing hell. Anyone else heard the rumour that at the Copeland, the steak that was served to Darcy Moore’s partner was well done when it was meant to be medium?

Heard a rumour today that he’s now interested in being traded Sydney because of it
It gets worse.

They gave her a fish knife.

Was listening to a podcast with Jake Niall (recorded yesterday) reckons the Giants for salary cap reasons would need Melbourne to cover over half of Olivers salary (half of $1.3m) So that could be a stumbling block but still expects the deal to get done. Dollars are going to be far more than what we had to pay for Grundy.

Melbourne are now holding firm re Petracca - new club is The Suns will have to cover his entire contract. Could that make it possible for the Suns to trade Humphrey?

If the Swans get Curnow they are going to bounce back into finals for sure. They have the midfield locked and loaded. Apart from Adams do they have any mids surplus to requirements?

Look, If they can go again then they are a mighty team. But we look at all the mighty teams in the last few decades- Lions (the threepeat team), Hawks and Tigers. They couldn’t snag the fourth.

Not that fussed on Oliver. Great pick-up if he can get back to where he was, but his attitude seems shite and doesn't look to take any ownership for his behaviour being a reason he's been pushed out. Comfortable having a quiet trade period and banking on some internal growth from our younger players.

Yeah could be.

pop him on a party boat with some subway and you have him. What a cheap date!
I get seasick and I hate subway, so this is why I miss out

Looks like we are just waiting for draft day. Hope fly puts the kids in and just plays them this year worked well for Brisbane. Then we can load up next year with some draft capital/free agency signings. Hard to see the side we put out this season going again we will need to play Allan, West and hopefully HH see what a few others have.

Well, if Oliver has chosen GWS, based in his trip on the Temu Love Boat, they can have him.
It saves us from having to agonise over his off field misdemeanours.
Melbourne are more likely to do the Luca Brasi.

Based on the above post - Leppa flew to Sydney only to have a zoom meeting - he ain't coming. His loss. Hope he runs amok at gws.

Imagine being his manager. **** you'd be stoked when he got on plane out of the country with less chance of ****ing up the GWS interest.

Don't see why he would want to go there. He is a poor man's Tom Green and lacks leg speed and can't kick. Atleast with is he wouldn't be fighting anyone for it and has players like Nick on the outside

The AFL will pay for Petracca to play at Gold Coast.
