This time of year is mostly made up cr@p.
The WCE poster has “heard” Dees are after 2 and in their dreams, they get 6 & 7. Bet it’s just a wish from a poster on their board.
Don’t see how GCS possibly give 6 & 7 for a 30 year old Trac, especially given they need a LOT of points to get their academy players.
They will trade a future pick for Petracca imo.
I wouldn't be so sure.

The Petracca deal looks like 8 & 18 to the Dees with 28 going back, so the equivalent of pick 6

If 7 & 8 went to the Dees with 24, 28 & 42 going back then that's about 100pts extra for the Suns

The deal for Clarry will also get the Dees more capital.

So what you wanted to say is that you want Richmond to draft the player (Robey) you believe has the most star potential, rather than this rant!
And winning premierships
That’s what Magic is all about

24 = 621
28 = 505
42 = 202

= 1328

8 = 1443

So by 100 point gain you mean 120 point loss for the suns.

I just can't work out how that 7 & 8 end up at the Eagles for pick 2 though, that gives the sun's even less points, unless pick 13 or picks 34 & 38 are involved.

Not sure it would be those picks in the 30's as it wouldn't give the suns that much increase in points.

Picks 2 & 13 for 7 & 8 is way overs imo

Love how desperately everyone seems to want any team to take CDT at 2.

It's like people are hoping that happens so we dont look foolish if we take him and he's a bust or if we dont and he lives up to the unicorn expectations and becomes a star of the comp.
CDT will be a gun.
West Coast won’t pick him. They are gun shy on him being homesick, same with Greaves.

That’s why they are ok offloading pick 2.

I don't mind if he falls and we pick him, I just wouldn't understand it unless he is that much better we can't refuse.

I just don't want to take a ruckman with a top 10 pick. Especially considering how many talls we took last year, how badly we need mids and the fact you can get decent ruckman for peanuts every single trade period.

Fox reporting our pick 3 might be going to Essendon for pick 6 and another pick/picks

Gru is now fumin as well.

This might be melt down day.
You sure Fox aren't just rehashing the story from the Rhy Gieschen interview yesterday that Rosa approached us about trading up?

No, after reworking the numbers I was a little out, but not to the extent you've said.

8 & 18 from the Suns with pick 28 going back to them from the Dees I would think would be the deal for Petracca.

What I'm saying is that the Suns keep pick 18 but give up pick 7 instead with Melbourne throwing in 24 & 42 as well

Original deal:

Pick 8 = 1443
Pick 18 = 836
- Pick 24 = 621

Total cost = 1658 to the Suns

Deal for 7 & 8:

Pick 7 = 1543
Pick 8 = 1443
Total = 2986

Minus

Pick 24 = 621
Pick 28 = 505
Pick 42 = 202
Total = 1328

2986 - 1328 = 1658 Which is exactly the same as the original assumed trade

Here's Sam Grlj's highlight package.

Feel like these packages are going to give me motion sickness if I watch too many

after watching these again, im all for the club taking him with one of our picks. Has pace, doesn't shirk the contest, follows up with 2nd efforts. He doesn't just give the ball off and then stop running, he keeps going. There was a lot of 1, 2s in that video. shows he has a good workrate.

Depends on the cost of the Petracca deal, 7 & 8 for Petracca with 24, 28 & 42 coming back is the same in points cost to the Suns as 8 & 18 with 28 coming back.
