Yeah, you can get votes in our BnF by just showing up. I think given the number of games he played, on an average of votes per game, it equated to "not completely screwing up and disregarding the coaches instructions," based on our voting system which is pretty easy to fulfill given his role in the side.
LMac has won our BnF

looking back on it i’m pretty happy we didn’t get houston, obviously these players aren’t the same level of quality but we have stiffy, fos, colby and goat all playing that attacking hb role.
not sure FOS and Colby will be playing it much longer though

but none of them are as good as the WC guns in defence!!!

dont condone it, but was a few years ago, and people can mature and realise the error of their ways too... cant judge people on sole acts of supidity
Oh but we have no problem judging Bard down at the Hanger around here?

Kidding. That’s a whole other level of stupid.

And look, having met alot of our squad in qld last off season i doubt our position has changed with the players either.

I was in a wheelchair at the time after recent surgery, and LMac and the Bull came straight over to me to check if everything was ok. Lmac also made sure I got a photo with the players I wanted.
Hatchy1992 you're making me like LMac, that will be enough of that please. ;)

very possible our position has changed considering Clayton is no longer around...
I don't think that has any bearing whatsoever, Scott Clayton was part-time he's not the one setting the standards he's being told to follow them.

**** off Arthur

What's Arthur done to irritate or am I looking at in jokes? He's not as funny as he used to be, but we are all allowed to have a bit of a downturn in form from time to time.

Just rather a pity our boys have had a few years in a downturn.

But hey, what about those magnificent girls wearing our AFLW and VFLW jumpers? How good are they?

Spot on.

We're the only club who hasn't poached at least one genuine A grade player or prospect out of another club for the last 15, maybe 20 years.

Dees, saints, dogs - all lowly clubs at times along the journey yet they all managed to do it.

There's clearly a limiting perception (or reality) out in the marketplace.

We can pretend otherwise but where's our Jake Lever, Tom Boyd, Buddy Franklin, Patrick Dangerfield, Josh Dunkley etc?

Every other club has landed a list management body blow to someone at a point in time other than us.
Agree. I don’t know why the club isn’t giving supporters something - anything - to get excited by. Yes, the draft hand we have is poor but do people seriously think the playing list we have will - unchanged - deliver 7+ wins next year? Windhager I thought was an ideal target: a defensive-minded mid. Hallelujah. Why did not we make him an offer he couldn’t refuse? Heavens knows, we must have the money. So we’re stuck in this vortex, this spiral of doom, where most supporters are feeling seriously underwhelmed about the club they love. Another two seasons of this rubbish, and it’ll be a wonder we have any fans at all. In the same way * has got Andrew Welsh (and Dean Solomon and others) talking up the club and saying we’re putting the past behind us, the future starts now etc, we have literally nothing to feel encouraged about. I know the * reference will annoy everyone but at least there’s a feeling they’re doing SOMETHING. I dunno what the solution is - but it sure isn’t inertia and inaction. Why don’t we get Drew Petrie, Spud Firrito, Scott Thompson, Cunners and a few other true Shinboners back to the club in some capacity, to talk the place up, engage with supporters, speak to the younger players, give the club a bit of energy and direction. The current Board, executive and footy department is, to my mind, failing on almost every level.

I don’t care for his shit gag two cents personally

Yes I know, very good person, it's the on field "Luke" that challenges me.
I reckon his skillset is essentially Jackson Archer. But expectations got muddled up.

If he'd come in via pick 70 with no fanfare it might've been better.

He's a solid defensive contributor. Where things got muddled was that both he and the club had visions of some bounding, precise long kicking playmaker and he's never displayed those traits at AFL level.
