If Curnow is a genuine chance I'd be tempted to forget about Marshall and just go Blicavs, SDK and Neale as rucks next year. Stanley obviously still there as backup and Conway and Edwards developing.

We showed how good our mobile ruck group can be in finals and Stanley in the GF messed with the cohesion.

Aleer could be a good option for extra defensive cover.

Not if were trading SDK to St Kilda to get Marshall and a 1st round pick

Neale is the expendable one. At least in the near term. I'd try him in the back half. But not the ruck, please.

He had a bad day, like many others, but I'm happy to give him some grace as he's young and clearly has a lot to learn.

That said, the talk out of the club is that he's keen to learn and works hard.

He's fast, but has to learn how to use that as part of his positioning and separation from opponents, but I'm happy to give him the time to learn that.
