Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

If Charlie stays, can pretty much rule that out.

TDK leaving just got us back into position for Dean after an unexpected rise up the draft boards.

JSOS pick could get us something but not gonna be an elite player.

Chesser has massive upside but comes with some risk. Personally, I think he'll fly past Wilson as the "quick mid" we were hoping for.

Khamis less upside, less risk, just a handy third tall at either end - if he gets McGovern off the books then we come out ahead.

Reidy is just cheap ruck depth essentially for free.

Florent and Ainsworth, if they come, will likely be best 23 and squeeze Acres and Fogarty, which make them positive acquisitions as well.

Looks to me like we clear cap space, balance the list, and set ourselves up to target a free agent next year to go with Cody Walker using most of our draft hand.
