I think we need to bolster our scouting and talent ID but then we found a gem in Trembath. I have no idea anymore.

His trade negotiations and contracts he hands out don't have much to do with resources imo.

You may be right that we might need more scouting and talent ID resources, but that's up to Thursfield and Brady to assemble and ask the club for more resources. They obviously added Shiels to bolster that recently.
Another option might be involving Rhys Harwood or Flynn Loft (former and current AFLW list manager) with scouting/talent I.D. when outside the AFLW window so to speak, but not sure what that would mean for salary cap split.

I can understand your frustration but please don't take it out on Gonzo or other people that are doing their best. It isn't his fault that he isn't great at this gig, it is the fault of the club administration that hasn't replaced him.

Rawling can’t be told Tas. And he has failed to listen to advice from those who know better. So yeah you can take it out on him. But I do agree that it is the fault of “higher ups” that Rawling is still at the club. With his track record clubs, Essendon excluded would’ve moved him on by now. :stern look

I just mean it is the fault of the club for not replacing him from that role. Brady isn't going to leave on his own.

Big 2 weeks coming up for Brady and the team. They have know for 12 months we wouldn’t have a first round pick in the draft. The only way we could realistically improve was via the draft. I understand we are currently not in a position to attract top talent but at the same time this thread will be in meltdown of all we secure is Charlie Spargo

Our boys are LAZYYYY. Preseason, training sessions, even game time. Zurhaar, LDU, Duursma, too many to name don’t treat their job serious enough and don’t put in enough effort.

They literally don’t know the level it takes to win a flag.

Flag winners are brought in for this purpose. Onfield improvement comes as a flow on from that.

Side note, by the time our (traded) pick gets pushed out to whatever there is no player in this year crop I would draft over Whitlock.

Everything is perfect, of course! Whitlock is so far ahead of pick 4 in this years crop.

And Spargo, renowned for being a party boy and good mates with Oliver, is just the leader we need because he was carried to a flag.
